Before going to the cabin, Louis and Christopher stopped at the Walmart. They bought a few breakfast things, some drinks, snacks, a few vegetables, a small pack of chicken and ground beef, noodles, lemons, salt, and a few more things they thought they were going to need that Louis forgot the day before. They really didn't buy too much because they were going to just have to throw it out afterwards if they did not eat it. They also stopped at a state store to pick up six bottles of red wine.

"Someone's planning to get lucky?" Louis joked with the cashier as Chris paid for them.
"Nah this is to just make it through the first few nights alone with you." Chris swatted his ass, took two of the bags, and ran out of the door before Louis could say or do anything else. The cashier giggled at them and handed him the last bag. Louis thanked her and followed after Chris.

Finding everything they wanted they started their drive to the cabin. At first, they thought they were in the wrong place because they hadn't seen another road, car, or even a house anywhere. The GPS was still telling them they were still on the right road and that they were almost there. Just about to give up and turn around, Louis swatted Chris on the shoulder. Chris turned and looked at him and Louis pointed to the cabin off to the right of where they were.
"Wow this is so much better than the pictures." Chris said as he began to unload the SUV and put their things on the porch where they stayed as they opened the cabin door and stepped in. Louis smiled and thought it was better than any hotel they stayed in their whole trip so far.
"This is so you, isn't it?" Chris stood next to him watching his face.
"I see a little of you in here as well." Louis said and pointed to the Keurig machine in the modern kitchen then over to the wall of books. Christopher's eyes lit up as he quickly walked over to it. HIs started letting his fingers run over their covers, trying to read them all.
"Oi!" Help me with the shit on the porch first, at least before you get lost in one of those." Chris laughed and ran back out to the porch to start helping bring their stuff in.
"I'll heat up the leftovers and do the laundry if you can please bring down all the dirty clothes before you go back to the bookshelf." Louis offered him.
"Deal!" He told him and went to do what Lou asked him. He dropped the dirty clothes in front of the washer then went and helped Louis put the food away. He then kissed him on the cheek and went back to the books. He finally found one and took it out front to sit on the porch swing and dove into it. When the food was done warming up Louis dished out the rest of their Polish food from the restaurant they ate at the day before. He brought Christopher's out, along with a drink, and put it on the little table next to him. He then went back and got his own to bring out to sit and eat in the other chair.
Louis threw a piece of potato at Chris, and he finally looked up at him. "Your food's getting cold."
"Oh, aw yeah. Sorry. Thank you." Chris finally realized Louis was sitting with him and the food.
    "Good book?" Louis asked him.
"Seems like it. I am already on chapter three." He told him as he put it down and picked up his lunch. "This place is amazing." He looked out at the trees around him. "This week is going to be so different. Then the last."
"Week? You booked us here for a week?" Louis was semi surprised to learn this new information.
"We can stay longer if you wish?"
"I thought we were just here for a few nights."
"Do you want it to be?" Chris didn't know if Louis was upset or happy about how long he had booked the cabin for.
"What? Hell no! I am so looking forward to staying here and exploring this place. What about Toothless and Ludo though? And work?"
"All taken care of back at the hotel room." Chris reassured him.
"If we get stuck out here in the snow, i still get to eat you first." Louis told him.
They talked a little more and finished up their lunch when Louis suggested they go for a hike. Chris asked if he could read a little bit more of the book then he was all his.  Louis said he was okay with it and went to explore the rest of the contents in the cabin.

Christopher and Louis had just made it back to the cabin from their hike when the rain started to downpour. They stumbled in through the back door laughing and out of breath from running the whole way back trying to beat the storm.
"Guess we should have checked the weather report, huh?" Louis, trying to shake out his now wet hair, said.
"Come on, let's go take a hot shower, get warmed up, and clean the rest of this sweat off us." Chris took him by the hand and pulled him towards the bathroom. Of course, they had to fool around a little while in there, it was like a given now. The first clap of thunder hit right as they were getting out, scaring the hell out of the both of them.
