Chan P.O.V

I ran up the stairs through another hallway to the second floor, where we stayed. Strangely there were no guards all the way, at all.

I saw my brothers standing near the staircase, holding lanterns.

As soon as I reached them they started asking questions all at once.

They had seen my wolf eyes before so they didn't mention it.

"Okay okay! I know you all are worried but let's find eomma and appa first."

"But what about Jisungie?" Minho asked. I have never seem him this scared.

"And Yongbokie? Is he okay?" Changbin mirrored Minho's expression.

"Jeonginnie?"

I looked down to see Seungmin, who was tightly holding Changbins hand.

He is crying! Oh my poor baby!

I kneeled down and hugged him tightly.

"Don't worry at all! Hyunjinie Hyung has gone to protect him!"

I looked up at the other two and said, "He will protect all of them." They nodded.

I didn't need to say another word. They trusted Hyunjin with everything. They trusted me too.

I hugged them all together. I had to protect them!

They told me that they had already checked our parent's room but no one was there.

They followed me downstairs. It was very dark but my wolf eyes and the lanterns helped. We could hear so many explosions but continued. I know the others felt helpless. I did too.

I had no idea where I was going. But my brothers followed me anyway, like always.

Chan, you cannot break their trust.

We could hear the shrieks, the terrifying noises of swords clashing and the smell of fire kept on increasing. I knew I assured my brothers just now but I couldn't help but worry. I trust Hyunjin more to protect everyone but I hoped he is okay too. That the rest are okay as well!

Fortunately we met eomma and appa as soon as we reached the groud floor.

They hugged us all. But something felt off about their expressions.

"Let's find the others!" Minho said.

"Yes you will." Eomma said softly. I could see tears in his eyes.

"Eomma, appa what's wrong?" I asked.

"Protect your loved ones without any words." Appa said.

I furrowed my brows.

"Chan, we need to go the other direction! We need to save the...It's only you who can do protect the ones here." Emma said.

"I don't get it! What is happening! " Minho said.

"Also where is the Kang King and Prince?" Eomma and appa both look taken aback at the question. I don't know if they would have answered since they were interrupted.

"Eomma I am scared." Seungmin said before bursting into tears.

"Oh my sweet child. Please trust me. It will all be fine!" Eomma hugged him at once.
