It was the same night. Dinner was ordered by Chan to be served to the Baeks in their respective rooms. He knew they wouldn't want to see the Moons right now. He also knew Hyunjin wouldn't eat, but still his meal was sent as well.

The Kang prince apparently had already passed out in his room. And Chan thought that it'd be much better for Llongwook to never wake up because when he does he would be closer to his doom.

Seungmin forced Chan to bandage his wrist. And after hearing all his brothers' pleas he complied at last. His fur coat was gone as he remained in a sleeveless black shirt to let his wound heal with his wolf strengths. His body gave enough heat to sustain a bit in the cold weather.

They gathered in the dining hall but none of them had dinner. They didn't have the appetite.

"In all these years none of us could do anything because we didn't know how. All our paths were blocked. And hyung, finally when you decided to fight for your love, to fight to save them, we are starting to find ways. But it will take time. Things will be okay." Changbin said to Chan.

"Yes hyung, and with Hyunjin hyung being here, your wolf is more at ease and you are more powerful. Even that on night, 9 years ago your determination to protect him and his family, gave you that much strength. Your eyes...that night, it was an indication. You are stronger when he is close. And so is he when you are near him. Because your souls are made like that, for each other. He will be okay." said Seungmin.

Minho slightly patted Chan's shoulder with an reassuring smile and said, "Trust your bond hyung."

Chan finally sighed from his seat and said, "We need a plan. If we want to save them from those bastards' clutches we need to find out the condition of the Baek empire properly." He said changing the topic slightly. He didn't want the indulge in the events of that cursed night right now.

"Exactly. We don't fully know what the situation is. Even Hyunjin's own brothers seem to despise Llongwook. I don't know why he is listening to everything that bastard says. And if we try to talk, they won't believe anything we say just without any proof. And we don't have solid evidence now. If we try to do anything or force them in anyway, they might leave immediately and we will loose the one opportunity we finally got to make things right." Minho said.

"Did you all notice, that all of them seemed to be scared of something, more so Hyunjin hyung. They were angry at Wook but couldn't actually do much. It's as if they are getting threatened." Seungmin voices his thoughts.

"Yes true. And our best sources say that the economic conditions of the Baek empire is not great either. The people are getting exploited as far as we know. The only reason the citizens aren't rebelling is because they have immense respect and faith in the princes." Changbin added.

"Samchon...he is in coma. And Kang Haegoon stayed back with him. Perhaps..." Chan started.

"Do you think the Kangs are using Minlee Samchon to blackmail them?" Seungmin asked.

"Precisely. And I think their target mainly is Hyunjin. Maybe they are also using his brothers to threaten him somehow. He seemed to have shut out his brothers as well. Jisung, Felix and Jeongin looked as shocked as we were when Hyunjin agreed with Wook." Chan replied, trying to join the dots in his mind.

"Then this is much more complicated than we thought. We knew the evil but didn't recognize its roots." Minho concluded.

They were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Let me see." Changbin said and got up from his seat. He opened the door and went out for a while. When he returned his face was brightened up as if he just heard a great news.
