In Love With the Alpha Vampire Ed Sheeran

"ED!!" you cry out. You run after him and the vent almost shuts before you make it there but you dive in just in time. You slide down a shaft, it hurts your arms. You hit a surface hard. Now you have to navigate the vent tunnels with no idea where red and ed went.

"Y/n!" You hear ed call out from somewhere in the vents. "Ed!" You call back, crawling towards where his voice came from.

"Y/n dont come over here!" Ed shouts.

"What do you mean!?" You continue crawling towards his voice.

"Y/n please! Red is gonna hurt me i dont want them hurting you too!" Ed cries.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!? ED IM TRYING TO HELP-" you fall through a hole as you say this, and land face down in some weird metal room. You get up and see ed shermo yuor beloved tied up by reds tentacles. 

"HOW DARE YOU NOT LOVE ME!" red screams. It slaps ed in the face with a weirdly muscluar hand. 

"ED!" you cry. Reds head twists around 180 degrees and stares at you. Suddenly two twntacles shoot out and tie you up. Youre stuck on your knees where you stand, with no choice but to watch what happens.

"WHY CANT YOU LOVE ME, A COOL SHAPESHIFTING ALIEN CREWMATE INSTEAD OF THAT LOSER Y/N!!?!?!?!?!?" red cries emotionally. They slap ed again. 

'Ed wouod try to fight back in this situation, surely hed try even if hes tied up right? He doesnt seem like hed just take it?' You wonder to yourself. Red starts punching ed, and watching it makes you wince and youre eyes tear up. But it looks like ed is trying to focus? 

"ED DO SOMETHING!" You scream. But a third tentacle wraps around your head, covering your mouth so you cant talk. 

Tears roll down your face as you watch ed shoran get beet up. 

Suddenly, a blinding white light fills the room. You squeeze your eyes shut, and feel the tentacles around you loosen a bit. The moment the light goes away you open your eyes to see ed fully healed and pulling the tentacles off of him. Red tries to attack, but ed shotes a beam of bright white light out of his palm. It hits red and they scream a horrible scream of pain that grinds at your eardrums. They retaliate but ed epicly dodges! He teleports to behind red and shoots an even brighter white beam at red, slicing them right down the middle of their body. 

Youre about to cheer when you see strings of what appear to be muscle and other internal body stuff attaching where red was sliced. They fill up the gap and before you know it, red gets up in one piece. They turn around in an instant and charge at ed, all their tentacles waving about, aiming at ed, theyre about to strike when-

You have to close your eyes again because of the white light, but when you open them red has once again been sliced right in half. Except this time both halves keep running, run onto either side of ed shurten and attack. He narrowly dodges all but one very sharp tentacle, which slices through his arm and leaves a visible hole through the side. Ed gasps. All the other tentacles wrap around ed like a tornado and clench really tightly, as if trying to squeeze him out of existance.

Except, they squeeze too tightly. Theres no way eds in the middle of that. A glimmer catches your eye as ed falls down from above, wielding a sword of pure white which he uses to strike red.  He slices both halves in half and severs a bunch of tentacles. He swings his sword horizontally, cutting all those halves in half. He swings and swings, cutting up red as much as possible. Eventually all their peieces lay on the ground, looking more like ground beef than what used to be a "crewmate". Yet somehow they still can talk.

"Ed..." they gasp. "Please... it hurts..." their body parts start trying to grow back together. A few parts here and there attach, but its slower now. Ed slices and reds parts, severing most of the attaching bits. 

"Why... wont you... love... me..?" Red manages to say.

"No ones gonna love a creep like you. You get someone to love you by being a good person to be around and winning their heart, not by attacking them and stalking them and being weird like you are!" Ed shouts. 

"Ed... i cant be complete without you... please... please..." before red can say anything else ed musters up all his remaining power and blasts out a super SUPER powerful white beam. You close your eyes but it doesnt do anything. Thankfully it only lasts 3.69 second. All of reds parts have been completely obliterated, and nothing but ash and one red chunk remain. And yet the single chunk still makes noise.

"Ueghhh..." they wheeze. "H...urts..." ed glares at the singular red chunk, not sure if he shoukd destroy it. You walk over to what remains of red.

"You know what? What if we let you live, you grow back what you can and move on with your life!? You find someone else to love, and you have a crush on them in a NORMAL way!! As awful as you are,maybe you should have a second chance!" You shout at the chunk.

"Y/n what the fuck." Ed says in disbelief. 

"Eughhhhhh...... il..... love... nor....mally.... I... promise...." Reds voice is barely audible. 

"Promise?" You ask,

"Y... es..." red wheezes.

"Ed, cast a spell on red so they cant grow past a certain size and have no more funky alien powers." You say. Ed gives you a very judgemental look but does it anyways. He once more casts his bright white light beam at red. In the place of the chunk now stands a mini red crewmate. They try to do something, presumably open their torse, but cant.

"Red, will you live a better life now and be a better... well... crewmate?" You ask. Red nods yes, and you pick them up and place them on your shoulder. 

"Lets get out of here." You say. Ed groans as he puts his arms around your waist and flies through the vent. You emerge from the same vent you went in and fly through the hallways at top speed before reaching a door with an exit sign. You and ed step outside into the cityscape. Hundred of lights glitter in the darkness. You set down red on the sidewalk.

"Are you able to make it around on your own?" You ask. The small little crewmate nods yes. You wave good bye as ed picks you up and flies you back to his mansion.
