Nick had decided it would be a good idea to invite people over, people who would be around and would notice my growing stomach as the months went on. Diane had made dinner for the list of guests Nick had given her.

It included his friends, one or two of Leah's, and a few of mine and Judd's. Jay who insisted his brothers be able to come with and his girlfriend Lola, Andrew, Jessi who would be bringing Missy, Tallulah and a few more of Leah's theater friends. The family hadn't really met my friends yet but Judd had told Nick their names apparently. Diane and Elliott even invited the parents of Nick's friends, I believed it was so they wouldn't be fully surrounded by kids and teens.

As we ate, I answered question after question. Even the inappropriate ones from Kurt. For once, even Jay looked uncomfortable. "So he's banging you good then?" "Yes. That's why I'm pregnant." Silence. Then a question from Andrew to change the subject. Which was genuinely surprising. "So.. What are you hoping it is?" Marty looked relieved and slightly disgusted. Diane looked angry but so did Judd. "Lovely question, Andrew. I personally don't care. I just want it to be healthy."

That brought up the discussion of the LGBTQ. "And if it decides to go by different pronouns or name?" Jessi asked, taking a bite of meatloaf. Diane had made it especially for me, knowing it was one of my comfort meals. "Interestingly enough, I go by a few myself." I replied with a shrug. I'd long since finished my food but I was really loving talking to everyone together. "Really?" "Yeah! She and her. Then they and them. And I like all kinds of compliments, masculine, feminine, and neutral."  Jessi hummed in response.

Jay was the next to ask a question. "And-And if they were gay or bi?" He asked hesitantly, nervously picking at his food. "Gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, aromantic or anything in between, I just want them to be happy. I'm pan myself so I wouldn't mind either way!" I said, flashing him a smile. He seemed to relax and continued to eat. Everyone talked amongst themselves for a while until Kurt decided it was time for another question. Except it wasn't a question, not really. It was an accusation in front of everyone.

"But are you sure it's Judd's?" He grinned behind his fork as he raised an eyebrow. Mona appeared behind me almost instantly, her teeth clenched. "You fucking-!" She screamed in frustration. She inhaled deeply and gripped my shoulder for a second.

I cleared my throat and sat my fork down. "Not that it's anyone's business nor appropriate conversation for dinner but I was a virgin. I've only been with Judd and even then, we've only done it twice. I'm not going to answer your disgusting questions anymore. No one is here to listen to it, cut it out." I looked around the table, my face flushing. I tucked my hair behind my ear and mumbled a soft apology.

I turned to Judd and ran my thumb over the back of his hand. "Would you mind getting me a bit more?" I asked as I held my plate towards him. "Happily." He planted a kiss on the top of my head as he stood up. I turned my attention to Marty. "So, Marty, I learned something new the other day." He sat his chin in his palm as he looked at me, waiting for me to continue. "I know you love scallops but they make you sick so I learned how to make vegan scallops. Barbara told me your spice allergies so I dug for recipes," He listened intently yet looked slightly disgusted.

"I found one and started perfecting it for you. I think you'd like it. Would you try one for me? I finally got the perfect batch." Andrew looked mildly horrified at the request. Barb, on the other hand, looked ecstatic. If Marty liked these and they didn't make him sick, everyone would live peacefully in their house. Marty was quiet for a while before picking his plate up. "Lemme try em." Andrew turned to look at his father. "Dad but-" "Andrew! Dylan spent time trying for me, I'm not going to be rude! And your mother might appreciate it." Marty grumbled, scowling at his son. He smiled at his wife, however.
