✧ .・゜゜・ ・゜゜・. Despite all my efforts to stay happy, Sadness has found a home in my heart.
Hear! My heart is beating faster, My breath is running slower, My face is paralyzed. My body is numb, surrounded by sheets and pillows as the mattress consumes me whole with inexplicable agonizing sorrow.
There is a quick fix, A pill, a voice, a place, a playlist, To make this morning depression disappear But that is a shortcut. Regardless of how horrible it feels to keep drowning in my own mattress I need to experience this, I need to! Because I am human, And so I can appreciate happy moments more.
However, the constant dominance of sadness within my mind, Makes me wonder, "what happened to all the internal happiness I thought I discovered"
Why aren't they fighting back?
