Ricky POV:
"Babe, we're here." I shake EJ as he wakes up.
We're taking a vacation to Alaska and we just landed. I honestly have no clue why, it's fucking cold here.

We arrive at our cabin and put our bags in the bedroom.
"I'm cold." I say as I wrap my arms around EJs neck.
"Well put one of my sweatshirts on."
"Well what if I want to do the opposite." I drag my finger down his chest.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah."
He pushes me on the bed, takes his shirt off and gets on top of me.

"We should go into town today, see what there is to do." EJ says as he gets up and starts putting on some clothes.
"Well it doesn't look like there's anything to do here." As I'm looking at brochure.
"Well I'm sure we'll find something. Come on, get your cute ass out of bed." He slaps my ass.

"So what should we do now? We could go..." EJ starts as something falls out of my pocket.
I try to grab it but I slip on the ice and land on it, I almost pull EJ down with me.
"Are you ok babe?" He chuckles.
"Yeah, I'm fine." As I get up.
"What's that?" He points to the box.
"Uh," I open the box. "Shit."
"What?"
I start checking my pockets. "Everything okay?" He asks.
"Okay, yeah....." As I feel it in my pocket. "Let's go."

"Hey, what was all that about earlier today?" EJ ask as we're eating dinner.
"What?"
"Well you started freaking out and you fell on top of something, are you hiding something from me?"
"Uh......... no."
"I don't believe that for a second. Babe, what is it?"
I take the loose ring out of my pocket and hand it to him.
"No speech or questions? Just here."
"Oh right, uh.......... I uh,"
"Calm down it's okay. I know you're worried about this."
I blush. "Uh, I never thought I could love someone after my first marriage. I was definitely wrong, I can tell that this is gonna last and because of that I want to ask you this.....will you marry me?"
"Yes! Of course."
"Ah! Yay," I put the ring on him. "I'm gonna tell Kayla, she'll be so happy." I take my phone out of my pocket.
"What'd we say about that after we....."
"But she's my daughter, what you want me to wait till we get back next week to tell her I got engaged?"
"Good point."
I find Nina's number and call it.
"Hello?" She answers.
"Hey, can I talk to Kayla real quick?" I walk into the bedroom.
"Sure."
"Hi daddy!" Kayla says excitedly.
"Hey sweetie, how are you doing?"
"Good, I helped mommy decorate the chrimas twee."
"Oh that's awesome. Hey I have something I want to ask you."
"Okay?"
"Would you be okay if you got another dad?"
"Wait what? I thought you said...."
"No, I mean.... Do you want to have another dad besides me."
"Like EJ?"
"Yeah."
"Ok....... Do you not like him anymore?"
"What, god no..... I asked him if he wanted to marry me."
She gasps loudly. "Wealy?!"
"Yep."
"Eeeeeeeee. Yay! Can I say hi to him?"
I walk back into the kitchen.
"Of course." I hand the phone to EJ.
"Hey Kayla." He says.
"Hi EJ! Are you guys getting married?"
"Yes we are, did your daddy tell you?"
"Uh huh!"
"Okay, well I'm gonna let you finish talking to your daddy ok?"
"Ok, by EJ. I wuv you."
My eyes widen.
"I love you too kiddo." He hands the phone back k to me.
"Hi again daddy!"
"Hi sweetie, I'm gonna let you get back to decorating with mommy okay?"
"Okay, I wuv you daddy."
"I love you to sweetie."
"Hey, I heard all that. Congratulations." Nina says.
"Thank you."
"Well I'll see you next week when you come to pick Kayla up."
"Yeah, by."
She hangs up.
"Did you hear that?!" EJ asks.
"Yeah! She says she loved you."
"I'm gonna love being a family with you two." He gets up and hugs me.
"Me too baby."
