Ricky POV:
I pull in the driveway of mine and my girlfriends house. I go in the house and hang my jacket up.
"Flower? I'm home, baby." I say as I take my shoes off.
I walk down the hallway towards our bedroom. I open the door and see her in bed with another guy.
"What the hell?!"
They jump, he falls off the bed.
"Uh, Ricky I swear this isn't what it looks like." She says.
"Not what it looks like?! It looks like you were sleeping with another guy!"
"Ricky I'm sorry, you have every right to be upset. I know I fucked up."
"Like hell you did. Get out! And take your new boyfriend with you!"
"Dude, I swear I had no clue she was dating anyone." He says as he gets up.
"No, I'm not leaving." She says.
"Fine, then I'll leave." I go over to my dresser and grab some clothes and stuff them in a bag and grab my ukulele.
She gets up and walks over to me crying. "Please, don't go. I love you, I made a mistake. I won't do it again. You're my baby."
"You'll have to find a new one then." I walk out of the room.
She fallows me. "I can't, w-who will take care of me when I'm sick or call me flower like you do, it feels different when it's you." She was full on sobbing now. I never liked seeing her upset, but I'm too pissed to care at the moment.
"You made your bed lily, now you gotta lye in it." I walk out the door and slam it.
I go to my car, throw my stuff in the back, get in, and sit there for a minute. Still trying to wrap my head around what just happened. The guy comes up to my car, I roll down the window.
"What?" I ask still pissed off.
"Look I'm sorry, I had no clue she had a boyfriend. I met her on a dating app and when I asked her about the pictures of you and her, she said it was her brother, and that he died."
"Such an idiot." I mumble.
"I know I am. I should have..."
"No not you, me. She would always hide her phone when she wasn't awake or around it, she would stay out late on the weekends. It all makes sense now."
"Sorry."
"It's okay, I believe you."
"Im EJ."
"Ricky."
"I heard." He chuckles.
"Do you need a ride? Like back to your place or something."
"I actually live in one of those long term motels."
"Hop in."
He walks to the other side and gets in the car. We start driving and go into the city.
—————
(3 weeks later)EJ and I have been living together in my car due to financial issues. I got what I could out of my bank account and we've become pretty good friends actually.
"How much for this?" EJ asks.
We're at the junk yard trying to find a bigger vehicle. EJ found a van, as in a white murder van but this has windows. And he had the great idea to convert it and make it into a RV type thing would be the best way to describe it.
