EJ POV:
I wake up in a hotel room. How'd I get here? I look over and see Ricky next to me, he starts moving around.
"What the...? Holy shit." He says as he notices me and rolls over.
"Well good morning to you to."
"Uh...... did we?"
"I think so."
"How'd this happen? All I remember was meeting you and us talking and you buying me a drink."
"Hi, I'm Ricky." He sits down next to me.
"Hi."
"What's your name?"
"Uh..... EJ."
"It's nice to meet you."
"Can I buy you a drink?"
"Uh...... sure."
"Here." He hands me a drink and a shot glass.
"You put the shot in the other drink."
"What is it?"
"Uh the shot is Bailey's Irish cream, and the half pint is whiskey."
He drops the shot in the glass and starts drinking it.
"Uh....... Wow."
"That's pretty much all I remember."
"Great." He hits his head on the pillow.
"I should probably go."
"Yeah."
I get up.
"What?" As I notice he's staring at me.
"Uh, n-nothing." He quickly looks away.
I chuckle. "Yeah, sure."

(3 years later)
"Hey babe. We're out of blades for our razors." I say as I'm standing in the doorway of the bathroom.
"So? I like you with a lot of hair." Ricky says laying in bed.
"Well. You're the one who complains about my facial hair scratching you when we kiss." I walk over to him.
"That doesn't mean I don't like you with a little extra hair."
"I'm gonna get dressed and go to the store real quick." I go over to my dresser and get out some clothes.
"Okay, I'll be here."
"No kiss bye, or, 'I love you'?"
"Fine." He gets up.
He wraps his arms around my neck and pulls me down to kiss him.
"Is that better?" He mocks.
"Definitely." I smile.

"...Happy birthday to you!" I finish singing.
Ricky blows out the candle on his cupcake.
"Yay." I clap lightly.
He giggles. "Thank you."
"Just another reminder of how old your getting."
"Ouch."
"Hey, I'm older than you so...."
"Yeah, 32."
I lean over and kiss him.
"I love you. Happy birthday."
"I love you too."
