"PLEASE refrain from overcrowding the elevator. One at a time people!"

"I'm sure one more demigod won't hurt!"

I held in a laugh as Grover tried to persuade the security guard to turn the elevator to Olympus into a can of half-blood sardines. With the tour group as big as it was, getting as many people up to the 100th floor as fast as possible seemed to be the solution to the long lines.

"Can't one of the minor gods fly us up or something?" Piper complained to my left. She put her auburn hair up. "And what's with the air conditioning in here? I'm still sweating."

"Oh, that might be my fault. Sorry." Leo aptly put out his hands, which were just erupting in flames a few seconds ago. The heat continued to persist.

Piper and Leo had been the demigods to escort me to Camp Half- Blood a month ago. They saved me from the relentless monsters stalking me at my school and I learned that I were a demigod, like them- or at least I had to be, with the ADHD, monster attracting smell, ability to see through the mist, and so on. Despite a month passing buy without me being claimed, they had made me feel welcomed and became the family I never had.

"Where's Jason when you need him, right?"

Everyone agreed with the son of Poseidon, who had just finished sending his girlfriend a message. "He probably could have summoned a venti to fly us up there."

I tilted your head to one side. "Aren't you guys war heroes? Maybe there's like... a special VIP elevator that takes you straight up."

Percy laughed. "Well, gods don't really need elevators to get to Olympus... but maybe Apollo likes listening to the elevator music once in a while."

"Maybe he updated the Frank Sinatra with tunes from the Valdezenator!" Leo said.

"Well, there's only one way to find out." Piper said, and then walked up to the bald headed guard. He had a black suit and tie with black shades to match, which reminded me of Pitbull for some reason.

"Hey Mr. Guard, could we please use the VIP elevator to get up, since we're the heroes of Olympus and all?"

Even Piper's powerful charmspeak didn't overpower him entirely. "Um, but, the gods-"

"Surely won't mind, since we saved their butts 4 months ago." Piper gave an award- winning smile her mother would be proud of.

The guard thought for a moment, then agreed. "Right this way."

The four of us cheered and made our way into a smaller but more ornate lift, the walls being made with speckled gold and ivory.

"Annabeth redesigned this place, she could have told us this was here," Percy grumbled on the way up.

Mention of Percy's girlfriend made me sigh, as I remembered everyone in that elevator with you had a significant other. In fact, most people in camp had a love interest, aside from me, a problem the Aphrodite cabin often tried to help with.

Ding! The elevator stopped, and the four of us stepped off and into a huge, circular room. There were 12 ginormous thrones spaced between the width of the room, and to my surprise, each were seated.

"Perseus, what is the meaning of this?" Poseidon frowned. All eyes were on us four, and in their divine glares I thought I'd disintegrate.

Percy tried to speak but was cut off by Apollo.
"You- You used my VIP elevator!?" He exclaimed happily, "No one uses my VIP elevator, not even after I put Sinatra's greatest hits on!"

Leo looked just as upset as the rest of the gods. Thankfully Piper spoke up. "Sorry, everyone, we didn't realize this elevator lead straight to the throne room... or that all 12 of you were having a meeting."

The emphasis on 12 wasn't lost on me, since even Hades, who never appears on Olympus on days other then the Winter Solstice, was sitting uncomfortably in his black throne. If even he was there...

"It's all right. I suppose we could use demigod information for the matters at hand," Zeus said. "Have any of you seen anything overly suspicious in the mortal world?"

"Overly suspicious?" Percy asked. We all shook our heads. "Is everything all right?"

"Yes, just fine, nothing to worry about-" Zeus quickly replied, but Hera gave him a look and he sighed. "My wife often reminds me of the respect I owe to the demigods who saved my kingdom. As such, I will warn you of the dangers soon to come."

Leo groaned. "Come on, we just finished saving the world from one supervillain!"

"We are not sure if this threat seeks to harm us," Athena spoke. Her piercing grey eyes reminded me of her daughter. "All we know is that a single soul escaped Tartarus while Gaea was in control of it, and Hades was not able to track it down again."

"I mean, it's only one soul, how bad could it be?" I said without realizing. The gods, who's attention was focused on the other heroes turned to me. "And who might you be?" Hera asked.

"I'm (F/n L/N)" I stammered under her steely gaze.

"And how do we know you're not a threat?"

I was too scared to speak, but thankfully Percy stood up for me. "(Y/n) has been at camp for only a month now, but I trust him with my life. More importantly, he hasn't been claimed yet," He said with a glare, "But we can go through that later. What does this soul belong to, for it to be so important to call a meeting?"

The gods were uncomfortably silent, and their eyes shifted to Hades. The god of death cleared his throat. "The thing is... even I don't know who or what that soul is. It's been in there since before I even started my rein in the Underworld. It might even be the first soul that was placed in Tartarus. That's why it is so important we get it back."

"Are you going to issue this as a quest to the demigods?" Percy asked.

Zeus shook his head. "I'm not quite sure what to do yet."

The whole room sat in silence as we took this in. Finally, Hera spoke. "We will keep you updated on the situation, my children. For now, you should go back to your tour group."

"Press the red button on the elevator!" Apollo added. "That'll get you down lickity split!"

"Alright," Percy agreed, and we all said our goodbyes. On our way back Leo put a hand on my shoulder. "First time on Olympus and you've already been introduced to the gods! Look at you!"

They all entered into the elevator, but I hesitated. I turned back to the Olympian's.

"Are none of you-" My voice cracked, but I steadied it, "Are you sure none of you are my parent? Or related to me somehow?"

My question was met with silence. Dejected, I slumped back to the elevator, seeing the look of pity on my friends faces.

"(Y/n)," Piper started, but stopped as I quickly dropped to my knees.

"AGHHHHHH!"
