star woke up before the rest of the group after their long night. she and rudy had slept in their bed, with rocky at the end of course, maddie and chase taking the guest bedroom leaving JD, austin and drew on the couch and love sac.

"morning" she heard, seeing drew awake on the couch, his morning voice deep and raspy with just the one word.

"holy shit, drew" she jumped

"sorry. nobody's awake yet, i didn't even sleep" he said, walking to the kitchen where she now stood.

"whatcha cooking me?" he asked, subtly looking her up and down as all she wore was a grey calvin klein bralette and some pyjama shorts.

"my eyes are up here" she joked as she turned to get the orange juice from the fridge.

"i- um. sorry" he mumbled, now embarrassed as he looked at his phone, star lightly laughed at him.

"it's fine, drew. you've seen me in a bikini and shit, pyjamas aren't any worse" she scoffed, pouring herself and him a glass each.

"right. sorry" drew muffled again.

"so how was it back home? i heard you and rudy got in a fight" he said trying to make conversation.

"who told you that?" she said looking at him confused.

"rudy told chase. didn't exactly tell me, i heard them"
he said

"nosey ass" she scoffed

"they were sitting right next to me!" he said

"right. i don't really like talking about it but uh, he was basically just hanging out with his 'old bestfriend' who turned out to be his ex. it's dealt with now it just became a big deal because he kept lying about shit. no biggie" she said, not really comfortable about talking about it much with drew as she still remembered he had a thing for her.

"oh, i'm sorry. that's really shit" he said

"yeah. it's okay now though" she shrugged.

"you know, i'll always be here for you if anything happens between you guys" he smiled softly

"i'm sorry?" she said, taking it the wrong way.

"i'm just gonna be blunt with it. i know you know that i like you, star. and what i'm trying to say is, i'll be there if you need anyone or anything if he treats you like shit again" drew said softly, not trying to speak loudly.

"drew- look, i like you, you're a great friend. but i love rudy. you know that. i say it in the nicest way possible, it's not gonna happen" she said, touching his hand that sat on the counter lightly.

"star-" he started, only to be cut off by rudy walking in from the hallway.

"morning" he said, a pissed look covered his face.

"morning ruds" star smiled.

"everything okay out here?" he said, pretending that he didn't just hear the entire conversation.

"yeah, i was gonna make breakfast but i don't feel like cooking for everyone" she smiled as he walked towards her, kissing her purposely in front of drew, hearing him clear his throat nervously made him get up from the stool he sat on.
