star had finished her shooting for the day, only appearing in a few scenes in the first episode. she sat on the sofa on the porch of the house that portrayed 'the château' on the show, rudy walking in not long after she did, seeing her and madelyn.

"hey rudy, how are you?!" maddie asked, a smile appearing on her face yet star rolled her eyes.

"good, thanks" she shrugged, taking a seat across from where star sat, sending her a few glances now and then, only wishing she would look at him let alone speak to him.

star and rudy didn't have scenes to shoot together yet, only finding out that day that they were playing love interests.

rudy was somewhat excited when he found out, hoping it could bring them closer and they could possibly make up, yet she was only angry, a small part of her wishing that they could make up, but it was unlikely in her eyes.

maddie and star were practising their scripts of a scene they had to do together, rudy just chilling while they did so.

"so i heard you two are playing love interest?! isn't that exciting? i mean it may be awkward with y'all only just meeting and all but i'm sure you'll be okay" maddie laughed

"yeah no it is exciting actually, i wasn't expecting it to be him, though" star said, rudy furrowing his eyebrows.

"what do you mean, did you guys know eachother previously or something?" maddie asked

"uh yeah, we met at an audition a couple months back" rudy lied, not wanting anyone to know the twos past, or at least not yet.

"oh that's good, then y'all won't exactly be strangers then, huh" maddie smiled

"yeah, i guess" star awkwardly said

maddie then got called away to film another scene, leaving rudy and star alone.

"we met at an audition? really?" she asked

"well i wasn't exactly just gonna say 'oh yeah she's my ex and i broke her heart over something stupid i done', was i" he shrugged, running a hand through his hair.

"so you admit you broke my heart, that's good to know you finally realised" she scoffed

"oh come on, star it was nearly two years ago! i know we haven't talked or anything but im still so sorry. i'm really fucking sorry that i broke us apart" rudy said

"i don't wanna talk about this right now, not here. i'm just gonna day this, at work, we're professional and acting like we aren't ex's or anything. outside of work, then we can argue. got it?" she said

"got it." he mumbled

"alright then. it's settled" she said, storming off and arriving at her trailer, taking a seat and running her
hands through her hair frustratedly.

she did want to make up with rudy, for them to be okay again, but she wasn't expecting it to be like this. that she would get a last minute role in a show and him to be her love interest.

to be honest, she wasn't expecting to even see or speak to him again, let alone expecting any of this.

as she sat in her trailer about to fall asleep, when her phone started ringing loudly, seeing it was her agent, allie.

"hey allie, what's up!" she said with a quiet groan.

"we kinda have a problem. it's not a major problem, but i thought i'd inform you." allie rambled

"spit it out, would you?" star said, a random burst of attitude taking over.

"so i got told that the apartment you were supposed to be staying in has major mishaps, they apparently booked you into the wrong one, so currently you don't have an apartment to live in. at all. they're trying to sort it out but they don't know how long it's going to take." she rambled

"great. that's great. i have to live in a hotel until they find me somewhere to live?" she said, full sarcasm to be excited about living in the small hotel.

"also, rocky and i can't get out to you soon, it's not really easy to get a dog on a plane in a rush, but i'll let you know about that- shoot- i gotta go, but i'll let you know any updates, okay?" allie said

"okay, bye, give rocky a cuddle for me" she said, hanging up and letting out a huge groan as she threw her head back against the wall, more frustrated then she was before.

a few minutes later she heard a knock at her door and saw the girls, both with smiles wide on their faces.

"hey star!" mads said, taking a seat next to where she lay

"hey guys" she smiled weakly

"you okay?" maddie asked, sitting on the bean bag

"yeah, i just got told they have no apartment to live in for a few weeks, maybe even months" she groaned

"we have a extra room in our apartment, just live with us" maddie shrugged

"are you sure?" star asked

"yeah of course! it'll be awesome if we lived together! roomiesssss!" mads squealed

"okay, yeah okay i will! it'll be awesome!" star smiled

"one thing, i have a dog, he's flying out in a few weeks, you guys don't have a problem with dogs or anything right?" star asked

"are you kidding i love dogs!" maddie smiled

"me too! i'm never home enough to have a dog, so i she my gotten one expect my family dog that lives with my parents, so i'll love to have a dog!" mads pouted

"yeah me too, so rocky lived with my parents for a while when i was in acting school since i got her when i was in senior year of high school, but once i moved to LA and starting dating this guy, i moved in with him and we both took care of him while the other was working" she said

"you have a boyfriend! omg let me see! what's his name!" madelyn asked

star pulled up a picture of the two on her phone, telling them all about him.

"his names noah, he's a model, and a total sweetheart, you guys would love to meet him" she smiled

"get him out here asap, girl i wanna meet him!" she said
