"Is he inside?" Jiyeon asks, grabbing the decorated cake from the counter before looking up at Mark that rushed down the stairs. "Yeah, he's in our room" Mark replies. "Do you want to carry this upto him?" She asks, holding the cake towards Jaemin that shook his head. "Jaehyun?" She asks, earning the same reply. "I think you should take it upto him, he'd really love it" Taeyong speaks.
"Do you want me to open the door for you?" Jaemin whispers, gripping the door handle to Mark's and Lucas's room. "yes please" Jiyeon replies. He opens the door, while everyone that stood behind the two yelled a 'Happy Birthday!' Jeno turns around in the bed with wide eyes, while the rest around him chuckled. Jiyeon smiled, walking upto the younger one with the cake in her hands.
"Blow the candles" she says, glancing down at the cake then back up at the boy. He looks around at everyone in the room before slowly getting off the bed and moving to stand in front of Jiyeon. He looks up at her once more while she smiled. "Go on" she chuckles. Jeno gulps before looking down at the cake and blowing out the candles. He slowly looks back up at everyone that cheered around him, his features breaking into a smile.
Jiyeon carefully put the cake down on the bed before looking up at Jeno and squeezing him in a hug. He chuckles, wrapping his own arms tightly around her waist. "Happy birthday Jeno!!" She says softly. "Thank you!!" He smiles. "Thank you so much!!" He mumbles. "Are you crying?" She whispers, on the verge of tears herself. "Of course not" Jeno replies, tightening his grip around the girl. "Yes!! A family hug!!" Jaemin exclaims, throwing himself at the two. The two chuckle, wrapping their arms around Jaemin. Taeyong smiles from beside the door, grabbing his phone from his pocket and clicking a single picture of the group.
Just like that, the day went by in an instant with everyone having the most fun they had had being with each other. "Ji..." Jeno mumbles, gaining the said girls attention. She nods signalling him to continue speaking. "Thank you for today!!" He says. Jiyeon smiles, giving a light squeeze to Jeno's hand. "it's Taeyong that did everything. You don't have to thank me" she says. "He did?" Jeno asks. "That's right" she nods. "I should... Thank him then" he says. "You should. Did you see him anywhere though?" Jiyeon looks around the crowd, trying to spot Taeyong that was nowhere to be seen for a while now. "He said he'll be in the garden" Jeno replies.
Jiyeon smiles seeing Taeyong seated on one of the steps while facing the garden. Taking quick yet soft steps she walks to sit down beside him. "What are you doing here alone?" She asks. Taeyong turns to look at her, a soft smile plastering his lips. "Just... Nothing" he replies. "You seem tired" she says. "Well... Today was tiring and we didn't sleep since last night" Taeyong says. "Do you want me to go get you a beer or something? I saw the others drinking" she says. "I..." He pauses, grabbing the can beside him. "already have a beer with me" he adds. "Oh..." "Do you want some?" He holds the can out towards her, chuckling as he watched her scrunch her nose while leaning back. "no thank you" she says.
"Is it good?" She asks, glancing at the can in Taeyong's hand. "Well... You could see if it's good. But I don't think you'll like it" he replies. She purses her lips together, before gently grabbing the can from his hands. "I'm curious... So I'm going to try just a little sip" she says, earning a nod from the other. She brings the can upto her lips, taking a sip out of it. "EW!!" She immediately moves the drink away, looking at it weirdly before turning to look at Taeyong that chuckled. "how do you guys drink this stuff? It's gross!!" She exclaims.
Taeyong takes the can from her hands, placing it beside him. "you'll get used to it" he says. "I... Don't think I want to" she shakes her head. "That's upto you to decide" he replies. "That's good that you don't want to though, it's my stubbornness that got me here" he says, glancing at the can beside him. "You're hardworking. It only makes sense that you drink to relieve your stress" Jiyeon replies. He glances at Jiyeon, smiling softly.
The sound of a bark made the two look behind them. "Aw!! You little thing!!" Jiyeon squeals, grabbing the puppy carefully and placing him in the little space between her and Taeyong. The puppy climbs onto Jiyeon's lap, before laying flat. She smiles, running her fingers through its fur. Taeyong leans closer, circling his arm around Jiyeon's shoulder while she let her head rest on his chest. "let's go sleep in a while" he mumbles, earning a nod from Jiyeon.
Walking out of her bathroom, Jiyeon makes eye contact with Taeyong that turned to look at her while drying his hair with a towel. She smiles, making her way towards him before wrapping her arms around his waist. "This feels nice" she sighs, resting her head on his bare chest. "The fact I'm shirtless or...?" Jiyeon chuckles. "No! The fact you're here. With me" she says. Taeyong scoffs, rolling his eyes. "I knew that"
"Ji!!" Immediately stepping away from each other, the two turn towards Lucas that stood by the door. "Oh... Why are you here?" He asks, his gaze on Taeyong that blinked a few times. "She... asked for help with her homework" he replies, pointing at Jiyeon that nodded eagerly. "Without a shirt?" He raises an eyebrow. Jiyeon looks at his torso, widening his eyes. "I just got out of the shower..." Taeyong says, to which Jiyeon nods again.
"I see..." Lucas mumbles. "Anyways, I'm joking. I just came to check if you both had dinner" he smiles. "We did" Jiyeon replies, glancing at Taeyong before looking back at Lucas. "Alright! I'll leave you two then. Goodnight!!" Lucas says, closing the door behind him as he walked back out. Taeyong sighs, dragging himself towards the bed and sitting down on one side. He glances up at Jiyeon before patting the other side of the bed, watching as she made her way towards the bed.
"I'm exhausted!" She exclaims, plopping herself down onto the mattress. Taeyong chuckles, laying down closer while pulling her into a hug. "Oh!" She exclaims. "Do you want to look at pictures from today?" She glances up at Taeyong that nodded with a smile. "Alright!!" She grabs her phone, moving closer into the warmth of Taeyong's body before opening her photo gallery.
The two laugh, watching as Jiyeon scrolled through the pictures she had randomly clicked. She paused at a picture of Taeyong who stood among the rest of the guys while smiling as he looked at her. She widens her eyes, slowly turning to look at the boy. "when did you take that?" He chuckles. "I... Don't know" she replies. "Ignore that" she says, scrolling onto the next picture that was another one of his. "oh..." She mumbles, scrolling a few more times while the pictures were only of Taeyong. She gulps, turning her phone off while screwing her eyes shut.
"I almost thought you were obsessed" Taeyong whispers into her ear. "Get away" she squeals, pulling the blanket over her head while turning away from the other. "I don't want to" Taeyong replies, pulling her closer towards him. "Don't worry. I got a whole bunch of you from today too" he chuckles. Jiyeon scoffs, fighting the smile that creeped its way onto her lips.
