Jiyeon's eyes flutter open, adjusting to the light seeping in through the curtains. She stretches her hand out, laying it on the empty space beside her. "Taeyong..." She mumbles, scanning the part of the bed beside her. She looks around her empty room, using her forearms to help lift her body up while she let out a soft whimper.
"Where are you...?" She brings her hand up, using the sleeve of Taeyong's dress shirt to wipe off the single tear that slid down her cheek. Just then her door opened making her look up with glossy eyes. "I brought y- Why are you crying?!" Taeyong rushes to her side, leaving the tray of food on the bedside table before placing his hands on her cheeks while looking at her with worry.
"I thought you had left" she mumbles. "I wouldn't ever do that" Taeyong replies, using his thumb to wipe off her tear stained cheeks. "My body aches, Taeyong" she says, wrapping her arms around the older one in a hug and letting her head fall onto the crook of his neck. "I'm really sorry" he replies, assuringly running his hand down her hair. "Do you want to take a warm shower? It'll make you feel better" Jiyeon nods slowly, squeezing her arms around Taeyong's waist.
"I can brush my own hair!" Jiyeon chuckles, grabbing her brush from Taeyong's grip. "I still want to do it!!" He exclaims, snatching the brush back. She sighs, keeping her gaze on Taeyong's reflection through the mirror. "I don't think I told you a while back..." He speaks, gaining Jiyeon's attention. "You look hot in my shirt" he adds making her choke on air. Taeyong chuckles, leaving the brush on the table before grabbing a hairband and tying her hair back.
"There!" He lets his hands fall onto her shoulders. Leaning down, he kisses her head before smiling at her through the mirror. "you're the most beautiful person I've seen" Jiyeon smiles, grabbing Taeyong's hand and giving it a light squeeze.
Taeyong chuckles, his gaze on Jiyeon's neck. "I did quite alot" he says. Jiyeon scoffs, rolling her eyes. The ringing of a phone on the bed gains their attention. "It's yours" Taeyong says, grabbing the phone and passing it over to the girl. Jiyeon thanks Taeyong before softly smiling at the name on her screen.
"Jeno?" She speaks, bringing the phone upto her ear. "hey!! Is Taeyong with you? Like we know he's with you, but Doyoung wouldn't believe any of us because apparently Taeyong had told him that he's going to his house" Jiyeon looks up at Taeyong that smiled at her. "Yeah he's here" she chuckles.
"We told you!! Anyways Ji, we're coming over in a while!!" Jeno speaks before hanging up. "Oh..." Jiyeon blankly stares at her phone screen. "What's wrong?" Taeyong asks. "The guys are coming over" "right now?" He asks. Jiyeon shrugs. "He said they're coming in a while. I don't know how long that is" she replies.
The sound of the bell ringing a few times makes the two look at each other with wide eyes. "I thought they said in a while!!" She exclaims. "Don't expect them to stick to their word" Taeyong replies. Jiyeon sighs, grabbing Taeyong's hand and standing up quickly, making her stumble. "Careful" Taeyong chuckles, bringing his hand to her waist.
The bell rings again to which Taeyong rolls his eyes in reply. "what are they so impatient for... Anyways, you stay here and rest, I'll go let them in" he smiles at the girl that slowly nodded. "Wait Taeyong!" Jiyeon grabs the older ones hand. "Tomorrow is Jeno's birthday right?" She asks, to which Taeyong nods in reply. "It is"
A soft knock on the door grabs Jiyeon's attention. "Come in" she says, grabbing her phone from the desk before turning to face Jeno that walked towards her. "You're not well?" He asks. "Huh? Oh no, I'm fine. Just slightly tired" she replies. Jeno sighs, shaking his head. "Taeyong said I wasn't well?" She asks. "Yeah" Jeno replies.
"I'm fine" she chuckles. "I was just going to come down" "No. Don't come down if you're tired! stay here a- wait!!" he takes a step closer, placing his hand over the collar of her t-shirt. "what's-" he lets out a gasp. "You both!!" He slaps a hand over his mouth, taking a step back. She looked at her reflection on the mirror before widening her eyes, and adjusting her collar.
