Caitlyn's POV

I screamed in my pillow loudly and kicked my legs. I hugged my pillow and started rolling around in my bed. she's MY girlfriend. Y/n. MY girlfriend. I squealed . I couldn't stop smiling. My phone started ringing so I stopped my fan girling for a second And quickly answer my phone . I cleared my throat. "Yes?" I ask into the phone. "Hey." I hear Y/n's voice ring out. "Hey!" I quickly answer back. I hear her chuckle. "So, uh. Do you wanna go to Jericho's? For like.. a first date? Or something?" She asks mumbling the last parts.

I stayed quiet internally screaming. "I-I mean, you don't have to if you don't want too." I hear her stutter out. "I'd love to. Today?" I ask. "If you can." She says. "Yeah! I'll get ready." I say hopping off of my bed. "Alright same. I'll meet you at the liquor store a couple blocks from your house. Okay?" She asks. "Yeah. Okay." I agree. It's almost like I can hear her smile. "Okay. See you soon." She says. "Alright, bye." I hung up.

I grabbed my pillow and squealed in it one last time before going to change. I made sure not to wear anything that stands out so I wore Y/n's hoodie and some ripped jeans. Once I was done I quickly ran downstairs hoping mom wasn't home. I grabbed my keys from the front door and- "Caitlyn. Darling, where are you going?" I hear my father ask. 'Crap' I freeze and so does my breathing.

I slowly turn around to see my father on the recliner holding a book in hand. "I.. uhm.. am going out." I say. "Yes, darling I know that. That is why I am asking where you are off to." He raised an eyebrow. "I, uhm.." I stutter trying to come up with a believable lie. He sighs. "With Y/n
Wick?" He asks. "Dad. Please-" "go." He says motioning his head to the door. "What?" I asked puzzled that I didn't have to beg him. "Go. I won't tell your mother. Don't stay out too late." He says flipping the page to his book.

"I'll tell your mother you're out to study with, what's her name? Sky." He says. I walk up to him and hug him. "Thank you so much, dad." I say. He pats my shoulder. "Be careful dear." He says. "I will." I give him a firm nod. "Thank you so much." I repeat walking out of the door. "Have fun!" He yelled out right before I closed the door.

- Time skip-

I make it to the small liquor store and see Y/n on her phone. This was the okay part of town. It wasn't the best part but it wasn't the worst part. People from both sides are quite common around these parts. I watch as a girl comes up to Y/n. Y/n nods which is her way of saying hi. I start walking a bit faster trying to hear the conversation. Y/n said something and the girl laughed.

The girl got closer to Y/n, in which Y/n tried moving away. Y/n was clearly uninterested in the girl, barely attention to her. I eventually got close enough to hear the conversation. The next thing the girl said finally got Y/n's attention. "Hey, so.. you are like really hot. Maybe we should go out sometime. Here, give me your number so I can call you" she tried grabbing Y/n's phone. She pushed the girl away "Fuck off!" Y/n snapped glaring at the woman. "I've got a girlfriend. Get lost!" Y/n barked.

She was snarling at the woman. "Come on. She doesn't have to know." The girl whispered. Her hand slid down Y/n's shoulder. Y/n's eyes filled with rage as she was about to retort I finally arrive. I clear my throat making my presence known. "Hey love." I wave at Y/n. As soon as she looked at me she quit baring her teeth and all anger left her eyes. The girl snapped her head towards me. "Who is this?" I seethed, smiling at the girl. She looked back at Y/n.

"I'm sorry. I need to get going." She innocently acted before walking into the liquor store. Y/n scoffed and glared at the girl. After the door fully closed Y/n finally looked at me and smiled. "Sup, princess." She waves. 'Well that was a big switch up.' Nonetheless I smile back at her. I look around "Let's get going shall we?" I ask she nods and stuffs her hands in her pockets.

She began walking and I began walking besides her. "She was annoying. Thank god you were there thought cuz I was about to blow up." Y/n laughed nervously. "I felt like I was about to as well." I agree with her. Everything fell silent as we continued walking to Jericho's. I feel a light tap on my hand. I look down to see Y/n's hand grazing mine. I then look at her to see she is not looking at me. I smile knowing exactly what she wanted. I then intertwined my fingers with hers, holding her hand. She squeezed my hand twice. I see a faint smile appear on her face.

As we continued walking I feel Y/n start to swing our arms. But Once we made it to Zaun she let go of my hand. I can't help but feel disappointed but understood why she did it. She now holds a blank face that looks to hold no emotion. She opened the door to the joint and bowed. "Ma lady." She looks up at me. I giggle and walk in.

Y/n walks up to the counter. "Aye, Jericho!" Y/n greets leaning on the counter, similar to when we first talked. She told him what she wanted then looked at me. "The regular?" She asks me. I nod. Me and Y/n come to Jericho's sometimes when we want to hang out, she talked with him then she payed. We then made our way to a booth and sat down.

She held a faint smile on her face. She looked at me and fully smiled. I smiled back at her. "Your mom give you any trouble?" Y/n asks. I shake my head "she wasn't home. But my dad was." I say. "W-what did he say?" She tentatively asked. "Asked where I was going." I shrug. I watched as her eyes filled with worry. "Did you tell him?" She asked. "It seemed like he knew. Not that we are together, but that I was gonna hang out with you." I say. "Did he get mad?" She asked voiced laced with worry. "I don't know. He told me he won't tell my mother though." I sigh.

She takes her hand through her hair, "woo! Got me worried there princess." She nervously laughed. I let out a real laugh. "To be honest I was too." I honestly replied. When the food eventually came, me and Y/n talked about whatever came into mind. "Hmmm. Ever been in any other sports besides track?" Y/n asks taking a sip of her soda. I hum thinking about the question. "I've been in gymnastics. I've also been in figure skating. But I found out that I like running better." I explain "Have you been in any?" I ask grabbing a fry and popping it in my mouth.

She hummed as well thinking. "I've been in baseball and basketball my overall favorite is boxing" She shrugs. I hum acting a bit surprised . She took a big sip from her drink. "You ready to get going?" She asks. I nod and stand up. She stood up as well. We then saw ourselves out. "Where do you want to go?" Y/n asks. I feel her hand latch onto mine.

I'm surprised by this action but I go on with it. "I got an idea." Y/n smirked mischievously. "W-what?" I ask skeptical of her 'idea' "let's go to your place." She says still keeping the same smirk on her face. "Are you kidding me? If my mom sees you, you will be shot dead." I scoff. "Cmon princess that's the fun of it." She says "You getting shot?!" I ask. "No! The suspense." She corrected. "You walk through the front door while I go in through a window or something. So they could know you are home and won't suspect a thing." She says.
"Are you serious?" I ask disappointedly. "Unless you got somewhere else we could go, I think it's a solid plan." She said almost cockily.

I sigh in defeat. "My mom is going to kill me." "That's if we screw up." She turn to me and smirked.

"So don't screw up".

I REALLY HOPE YOU GOT THE REFERENCE!! Anyways you guys want to know a little secret of mine? Sometimes  chapters I base them off of how I hear songs. I could listen to a song and imagine something that's usually get my ideas. For example the chapter where Caitlyn is crying in the stall.

The song I based it off of  was 'this side of paradise' the part where Y/n hugs Cait is supposed to be when the song starts it's chorus. Idk if it make sense. Just thought you guys should know that fact.
