I ran as fast as I could. They're catching up. I took a glance back and saw one take something out of his pocket. Shit. My breathing was heavy and I began breaking a sweat. I crashed into someone at full speed causing me to tumble but dive roll back up to my feet. I didn't have time to apologize so I kept on running. I've been keeping tabs of what the rules in this hell hole are. Which I clearly don't get the memo and break each one of them. Besides the first one.

Don't drop your soap. That's the rule I absolutely refuse to break.

I know my stay is temporary I know shits been tough with Vander and money always has been. I just gotta be patient I know they're trying. I mean I hope they're trying. My adrenaline eventually started wearing off when I neared my cell. I quickly ran in and began pushing it close. The thing about our cells is that they are hard to close with just force. That's why they use a button to open em. Once they close you can't open it unless you have the key or the button. I use all my force to slowly close the door. My hands shook and I held my breath hoping I could close it in time.

I pushed my whole weight against it and it needed two more inches before it could lock. It finally clicked shut but one of them had stuck their shank between the bars and slice down my cheek right below my jaw. I grunt and fall back holding my face. They all stuck their hands in to get me but none succeeded. I pant and watch as they flailed their arms wildly to get me. I shiver as I felt wet warmth on my hand.

I cringe as I felt the blood flow down my neck either to my shirt or the floor. I kept my face blank almost sneering at them. "Watch your fucking back! Shit won't be so funny next time!" They yelled. I didn't show any reaction. I didn't want to give them any satisfaction. I stood up and dropped my hand from my face. I let the blood drip onto the floor. I looked up at them and stared at them coldly.

"I'll be here."

Caitlyn's POV

I wanted to ask if she was coping well with this. Because in reality I haven't been coping well either. Things with my mom have gotten so bad that it's almost daily that we get into screaming matches with each other. I miss Y/n. It crazy that when she's gone everything changes. The walk to the last drop was silent. Though I could tell both of us had questions for each other. We eventually made it to the last drop. I walk to the door and grabbed the handlebar- "wait! My Dad is working right now. Plus it's uh. It's in the back." She explained. "Cmon." She said as she walked to the alley of the last drop.

I follow her and looked around. I saw the wall that was filled with Y/n's art. I saw her table that still had spray cans and her black backpack on it. I saw her respirator mask. And my respirator mask. I grab the respirator mask. I could always see her lovable smile through it. From the way she crinkled her eyes and her cheeks raised. I smile gently myself thinking about it. I place it down and look at Vi. She gave me a sad smile and turned.

She turned to a wall that had blue tarp on it. I watch as she climbs a dumpster and jumps to a ladder. "Hey, be careful!" I say. She still has a sling on her arm so it made me worry. "I'm fine." She says grunting a little while climbing the ladder. Once she made it to the top she walked to the tarp. She sighed and spoke something that I couldn't hear. She took bent down and grabbed the tarp. She took something that I couldn't see off of the tarp. I'm guessing it was to keep it in place. She then let the tarp fall. I gasp and my eyes widen in shock as I saw the wall.

It was me. It was me on the wall. She painted me. I bit my lip and furrowed my eyebrows. This was my surprise. I stared- no admired it. That was in fact me. I didn't even realize that Vi had come down from the roof. I blinked quickly and sniffed. I saw from the corner of my eye as Vi went to the table and grabbed Y/n's bag. She then walked back towards me and pulled something out of the bag. I look at her I let a shaky breath out. "Here." She said giving me an envelope. I look at her then the envelope. The front  of it wrote. To ma'lady. In cursive. I opened it and took the letter out of it. The paper was wrinkled and had been stained brown and smelled of coffee. She made it look Vintage. I smile I carefully unfolded it.
