Day 1

A metallic taste lingered in my mouth. Blood. Once I realized what it was I instantly spat it out. I quickly sat up and looked around. Where the fuck am I? I stood up and looked to where I was currently laying down. Two slabs of concrete with a thin blanket. No. No no. I turned around to see a toilet and sink. Shit no. It was dark but a faint light came from outside an iron door. I need to call Vander. I checked my pockets only to find out these aren't my clothes. I took a good look at my shirt. 481. I let out a shaky breath. I ran to the iron door. And look through the bars. There was other metal doors. And it went on, and on, and on through a long hallway. This is a cell.

Fuck. Shit. Do the rest know I'm here? No shit idiot they saw your ass get dragged away. Suddenly there was a loud clinking noise. I step away from the cell door as the noise came closer. It then stopped in front of my cell. "Welcome to Stillwater, fish." He gave me a disgusting smile and slammed his baton on my cell door causing me to flinch. I also squinted in confusion. Fish? What kind of fucking nickname is that? He laughed and began walking away.

Then it hit me. Stillwater. Stillwater as in the fucking prison. I ran too the door. "Wait! I don't belong here I'm still a kid! I'm supposed to be in the Juvenile detention center!" I yell. "You're meant to be here if you get sent to Stillwater kid." He said slamming his baton on someone else's cell. The cell door opened and the guard walked inside their cell. "Come on, we need to have a lil chat about what happened last night" "Please! Wait! No, I didn't do anything!"

"That's what everyone says." The guard says. I saw as he dragged the man out of his cell and down the hall. Holy fuck. I went to the slabs of concrete and sat down tears brimming my eyes.

They'll come for me.

Caitlyn's POV

I stood silently waiting for realization to hit me. I watch As Vi runs out of the room to try and catch up with Marcus but she gets stopped by her adoptive father. She tries pushing him away with her good arm "You just watched! You didn't do anything! You let them take her! You let them fucking take her!" Vi screamed punching Vander's arm trying to get free from his grasp. Vander didn't say anything. He didn't retaliate. He just held his daughter closer and closed his eyes frowning as if he was going to cry.

Vi eventually stopped hitting him falling limp and began wailing in his arms. Vander finally opened his eyes and the look he gave me was pure dismal. He sighed and picked his seventeen year old daughter up like a child, while she sobbed loudly onto his shoulder. He silently walked into the room with the rest following behind him.

Dad placed his hand on my shoulder. His breath shook as he inhaled it soon steadied. "Let's get you home dear." He calmly says. I nod my head and begin walking with him. We walk out of the building and to my dad's car. I made my way to the passengers seat and sat down. The ride home was silent. A couple minutes later I sigh as we approach my home. "Darling. Are you okay? You can let it out." Dad made it known stopping the car in the driveway giving me a sad stare. I just shook my head.

"I'm fine." I whispered opening the car door and stepping out. I made my way to the door and waited for my dad to come with his keys and open it. But no need. I heard the door unlock and watch as my mother opens the door. She gives me a look but I'm too tired to look into it to see what it means. She then looks at my dad.

She sighs and steps aside letting us in. I didn't bother to make conversation with them, all I wanted was to be alone. I began making my way to my room. Then my mother called out to me. "I heard what happened. What did I tell you? She's no good. She just proved my point." Mother said in a cocky tone. "Cassandra!" My father boomed. "You are an adult. Stop acting like a bloody child and grow up." Dad spat. Me and my mothers eyes widened in shock. This was a brand new tone of voice I've never heard from my father. The one who never talks back to my mother.
