Dust stirred up as Jamie was dragged across the clearing. Pain pulsing up their leg. As they looked around their surroundings, they didn't see much, a barrel of supplies, ammo, and guns. Another human appeared to have been captured in a nearby cage.
"Eh Zachary, light up that fire! Wings fo'dinna."
Jamie was thrown into a cage, hitting their leg once more.
*Bang* The caged animal flinched at the sudden collision. Hiding their head behind their wings.
As the cage slammed shut, behind jamie. The hunter turned and shifted his weight towards the other cage.
With a swift movement, the other cage flew open and the hunter took the pigeon kid in hand, dragging them by their neck.
"STOP, please. You're hurting him." Jamie begged, reaching out through the bars.
The hunter dropped the kid, and reached for his gun. Turning towards Jamie.
*Bang*
