Christopher Bang Chan has been extremely busy during July and, honestly, it was bothering the princess since she only saw him by her side during formal meetings and visits. The atmosphere between the two was more than awkward - it was unbearably silent and distant ever since they fell in Mr. Robins's lake last week.

So what if he saw some cute lingerie under the wet dress, princess Yona thought, it was not a big problem - it's not as if she's been completely naked. Plus, they've known and been together for a fair long time so there was no need to be awkward with each other for a whole week.

Princess Yona wanted to "solve the problem" (if there was any) but there was never a right opportunity so she gathered all of her courage and pulled Chan to the side after the meeting with the teachers for the princess's new school.

"My princess... what are you--?"

"No!" Yona cut him off, pushing Chan to the wall behind the school building, "Let's stop with this!" Chan looked at her, his expression a mixture of confusion and a bit of sadness, "No, that sounded wrong... Uhm..." she paused to recollect her thoughts, "I don't mean to end our relationship," she reassured him, "I want to end this awkwardness," she paused again and Chan listened, "Ever since we had that 'accident' in the lake... you've just been so distant... I feel... I mean, yeah, I embarrassed myself, but I never imagined we would stop talking to each other because of it!" she looked down, still gripping his arms.

"My princess..."

"And, yeah, umm... I thought everything will turn back to 'normal' after a day or two but this long..." Yona shook her head in disbelief, her words streaming out fast, her brain not acknowledging Chan's voice.

"Princess Yona..."

"I'm sorry, but I just can't stand any bug, especially those that are buzzing and flying around. Except for fluffy bees, they're cute," she didn't stop talking, still looking down at their shoes, "And then I slipped, pulled you with me, and we fell in the water, and..."

Bang Chan quickly released himself from her grip, grabbed her face with both his hands, and pulled the princess into a hard sealing kiss. Their lips were connected for a good moment until Chan broke the "seal" first and, still holding her face, looked Yona straight into her eyes, "Is this the only way to shut you up?" he asked, rhetorically, "You talk a bit too much, it's unnecessary," she was silent so he continued, "Do you know why it's been awkward between us?" Yona shook her head while Chan still held it, "I needed time, my princess," pause, "I needed time to think... to clear my head of all the impure thoughts I had about you ever since that 'accident'..."

Chan didn't have to explain more - Yona figured out exactly what he meant. He could feel her cheeks getting warmer under his palms but Yona took a step back and turned her back to him, hiding her expression.

"I'm sorry..." she whispered, biting on her thumb, not really knowing how to react or what else to say. She couldn't lie to herself - there were numerous moments where the image of Bang Chan warmed her lower stomach and set her mind to overdrive, thoughts rushing just like her blood. So she couldn't blame him - Chan was human, as well, with desires and same thoughts.

The princess suddenly felt a pair of large hands on her shoulders and gave in to his touch as he turned her back to him, "Hey..." Chan whispered, pressing his forehead on hers, "It's not been long since we confessed so I'm trying not to rush things and, most of all, I want to respect and cherish you for as long as I can. So... don't ever think that I stopped liking you because you did something silly such as screaming because of the harmless dragonfly and pulling us both in the cold water." his chuckle made the princess laugh as well and hug him.

"Thank you... I love you so much..." Yona whispered over his shoulder and felt Chan's arms wrapping themselves more around her body in a tight hug.

They hugged for a long moment in silence behind the school building, in which teachers still discussed their program for the upcoming school year.
