The first morning with the Bang family was awkward just like the previous day but as the conversation flew during breakfast, everyone gradually relaxed around Princess Yona. After the meal, the princess was ready to fulfill her promise to Lucas and play ball, and Chan joined them too. They ran around the yard until Mrs. Bang brought refreshments. They were dirty and sweaty, but Yona loved it - she has never had so much fun before.
Despite Mrs. Bang's protests, Yona wanted to help around the house, especially in the kitchen as she's never had a chance to do it before. They prepared a delicious stew, ready just in time when Mr. Bang came back from work. For the rest of the day, they talked and laughed, sharing stories. Both after lunch and after dinner, Yona asked Chan to show her around, enjoying the long walks with him. Young Hannah watched all of their moves, now sure of what she previously thought - something was going on...
The next day after breakfast, Hannah brought up her idea: "Let's go to the beach today!" nobody replied to it so she continued, "Dad can take us there and later pick us up. We'll come back home in time for lunch!"
"Yes!" Lucas stood up from his chair, loving his sister's idea.
Chan looked at the princess from across the table, her head lowered and eyes hesitant. "I'm not sure that's a good idea..." he said, looking at his sister sitting beside him.
Hanna pouted, but just as she wanted to speak up again, Yona raised her head, "That sounds like a good plan, Hannah. I would love to see the ocean!" the princess smiled and Hannah rejoiced. Yona looked back at Chan, nodding in approval, telling him not to worry. "But there's a little problem, to be honest..." Yona's smile weakened as she looked back at the girl, "I don't know how to swim..."
Everyone, except for Bang Chan, looked at her in shock but Hannah shook her head and smiled widely, patting Chan on the shoulder, "Don't worry, Chan here can teach you. Right, dear brother?" her cheeky smile widened, looking at her older brother.
It was all part of her plan and she was not letting it fail, no matter what.
With the Bang siblings, even a shaky cart ride under the hot sun was fun. They joked around and played, telling Yona embarrassing stories of younger Chan. He had to remind the young ones to stop dozen times but both of them were so determined to reveal everything there was to the princess and seeing how hard she laughed, they continued even after they arrived at the beach.
"And that one time when he almost had to fight the kangaroo..." Lucas said, his laughter preventing him to finish the story.
"Ok, that's enough!" Chan shouted, his face redder than a tomato. The three continued laughing behind him as he carried all the equipment under his arms. Chan wore a short-sleeved shirt, his arm muscles tensing up from the weight of the bags, but Yona was too busy laughing that she missed that wonderful sight.
Due to his embarrassment, Chan stabbed the sand with a parasol almost too hard, dropping the bags. His sister noticed that move and decided not to push his buttons any further so she turned to the princess. "Princess Yona, there's one shop over there, let's go."
