I parked my car and got out. Today was Friday and school would end at three instead of four thirty. I wondered if the music club would be meeting today. I had avoided the last three meetings after my encounter with Jungkook last week.

I walked through the school and bumped into Yoongi at our lockers.

"So, I've been meaning to ask. Do you know why Hoseok and Jimin joined the club this year?"

"No idea, man. I found it strange as well and I was sure they were going to try and sabotage it but they've been doing pretty good."

"This is so weird, I wonder if we'll ever know" I shut my locker and rested my back against it.

"Why don't you ask them?"

"We're not friends" I answer.

"So, that's never stopped you before. Is it because they're always with Jungkook?"

"What does Jungkook have to do with this?" I get up and quirk my eyebrow.

"Because he's always circling around you and bothering you. Not that you haven't had your fun with him as well" Yoongi side eyed me and I couldn't help but smile.

"I have, haven't I?" We started walking towards Yoongi's classroom. He was in B-3 which was the last classroom of our year. When we entered, I saw Jimin and Hoseok were sitting there.

"They're in your class?"

"Yep, for the third consecutive year" He mumbled.

"So then, how come you've never befriended them?"

"I get along fine with them. You know, in a classmate kind of way."

"But don't you want to have more friends?" I ask.

"I have two and that's plenty. Besides, you're so hyper that you count as two friends on your own"

"Shut up" I playfully nudge him before walking away to my own classroom. The bell was about to ring and I should be there before it did.

I opened the door and saw all the students were already there, including Jungkook. I sit down without sparing him a glance and take out my notebook and start drawing. The teacher started his lecture and I paid no attention whatsoever but what did catch my eye was the other student who seemed to be ignoring our teacher.

I looked behind me and saw Jungkook hadn't even taken out his notebook this entire time. I scoff, he's leaning into this bad boy persona way too much and he was going to fail his first semester spectacularly if he kept this up.

I kept tabs on the boy in every class and noticed he never took notes or anything. One of our teacher gave us homework to do in class but I was too absorbed in mine to see if Jungkook had done his or not.

When the lunch bell rang, I heard the teacher asking Jungkook to stay behind. I pack my things and walk by him. I couldn't help but look at him and flash him a smirk when our eyes met.

Outside of the classroom, I waited for Namjoon to finish packing his things before we went to eat lunch.

"How easy was that practice, huh?" He was still packing some notebooks in his bag and didn't pay much attention to where we were going.

"So easy. Come on, let's drop our things in our lockers and go eat, I'm starving" I prevented him from hitting the wall of the corner we had just taken and stopped in front of my locker. I placed my books and closed it.

"You fucking scared me" I say when Jungkook's face appeared from behind the door of the locker.

"What's with that smug expression from earlier?" Jungkook snapped.

"I'm just glad to know that you'll be out of my life soon. I'm pretty sure most teachers are going to flunk you" It was our first interaction in a week and I was kind of nervous to be talking to him again.

"We'll just have to see about that"

"It's already done. The first exams are approaching and you're never going to pass" I pout in a pitiful way and I could literally see his eyes fill up with anger. His right fist grabbed my blazer and slightly pushed me into the lockers.

"Let's go, Namjoon!" I yell. I knew the ravenette wouldn't  bother me too much in front of Namjoon and it was always fun to point it out.

Namjoon who was behind Jungkook, at his own locker, turned around.

"Yeah come on, let's go"

"Let me go now, Jungkook" I offer him a smug smile as I feel his fist let go of me. I pick up my bag that had fallen earlier and walk away with my friend.

We walked to the cafeteria and each got the same, cold tuna salad pasta with some fresh orange juice. During lunch, we would often both be on our phone or talk about stuff that happened during our day. Sometimes others would join us and it began gossip city. I didn't gossip but I couldn't stop from hearing about it from the other students.

"So, everything okay between you and Jungkook?"

"Why are you the second person to have asked me that today?" I say as I eat some of my pasta. "Besides, why do people assume I even have a relationship with him. We barely talk"

"You don't need to talk to have a relationship with the guy. It's obvious there's something between you two"

"I don't see it" I put down my fork and take a sip of juice.

I was starting to feel annoyed that people seemed to be making up some kind of connection between me and this idiot guy. I think Namjoon got the hint seeing how he didn't ask me anything else regarding Jungkook for the rest of the day.
