Third P.O.V
"So, what do you think it means?"
"I think you two could be friends if you wanted to" Namjoon answered without even looking at the younger.
"No way. Maybe he was sick?" Taehyung was lying on his friend's bed after explaining to him what had happened two days ago.
"Jungkook's not a bad guy, you two would get along if you hadn't decided to be mortal enemies at the start of the year"
"We didn't decide anything" Taehyung scoffed. "We're nothing, not even enemies"
"Dude, you're obviously interested in each other. I don't know why, but you are" Namjoon ended up putting down his pencil and turning around in his chair.
"He's different" Taehyung was surprised when those words came out of his mouth.
"Different how?"
"I can't quite explain it. There's something interesting about him" Taehyung sighed; he wasn't used to not knowing the answers.
Since the exam period had begun, Taehyung had been going to Namjoon's house to study. Every now and then, Yoongi would join or they would go study with other students from their year. Taehyung had been here since eleven am and wouldn't go home until later that night.
At nine pm, Taehyung left and went back to his house. On his way over, he thought a bit more about Jungkook. How did he truly feel about the guy? He liked his looks, that he knew. He thought he was a pretentious jerk but the other day his actions had been so different.
"Urgh, I hate this" He parked the car and got out. Seeing how he had already eaten dinner at his friend's house, Taehyung went straight up to his room.

The bell rang like usual, signaling the end of the school day. Taehyung packed his things and exited the classroom. After a quick stop at his locker, he made his way to the D-4 classroom. He turned the corner and came face to face with Jungkook.
"I'm just going to music club" Taehyung said.
"Yeah, me too" Jungkook answered with the same uneasiness as the other.
"Cool" He cleared his throat and stayed put for a moment. "Should we go together?"
"Sure"
Taehyung saw Jungkook quickly scratch his nose before starting to walk.
The two boys walked together but didn't exchange a word the entire way there. Jungkook opened the door and waited for Taehyung to be inside before closing them.
"Oh great, you two came together! I was just about to ask Taehyung for help" Yuqi had appeared out of nowhere and was smiling at them both.
"Why would you need his help?" Jungkook asked and looked at the brunette.
"Well, he and I have similar tones, so I wanted to ask if he didn't mind helping me practice my lines" She shot Taehyung her angelic smile and the boy froze. He didn't want to help, in fact, he didn't even want Jungkook to know he could sing.
"Sure, I'd love to help" He blurted it out.
"Great! Let's go sit over there so we can practice" She grabbed Jungkook by the wrist and dragged him to the back of the classroom. Taehyung trailed behind and saw Jungkook shot him multiple glances. He didn't like this, but he couldn't say no to Yuqi.
She started playing the song and sang the part she had most trouble with. Taehyung could see why, it was a higher pitched sound that could be hard to reach with a raspy voice. At first, all Taehyung did was help her warm up her vocal cords and such but after some time, Jungkook got impatient.
"I want to hear him sing" He said.
"It's not really necessary-"
"Oh come on! I'd love to hear you sing this song. Besides, you could really show me better if you sing those parts yourself" Taehyung tried to smile at Yuqi but he was terrified of singing.
"Some other time maybe, yeah?"
"Dude, just sing" Jungkook interrupted.
"We've done enough for today, I think. Let's pick it up another day?" Taehyung grabbed his phone and prepared to leave.
"Don't be a wuss, man. Just sing a few lines" Jungkook scoffed.
"No. Just drop it, Jungkook. Okay?" The boy took his bag, got up and left. He walked across the halls but stopped and leaned back.
Closing his eyes, he tried to calm down. He knew he had overreacted and that Jungkook couldn't possibly have known, but the boy could still have gotten the hint and stopped pestering him.
"Hey" Jungkook's voice made Taehyung jump and open his eyes. "I'm sorry for pushing you to sing"
"Whatever, this has nothing to do with you so, you can leave" Taehyung straightened his posture making him stand even closer to Jungkook.
"Dude, what's your problem? I'm playing nice here" Jungkook scoffed and traced the inside of his cheek with his tongue.
"Don't bother" Taehyung sighed and tried to move past him but the boy slammed his hand on the wall, caging the brunette.
"What's up with you? Why were you so against singing?" His head came closer as he tried to make eye contact with the boy.
"It's my own business" Taehyung looked down before adding. "I wasn't going to let you hear me sing that's for sure..."
"Why not? Why can't you sing in front of me?"
"Because..." Taehyung looked up and locked eyes with the ravenette.
In an instant he completely forgot what he was going to say. He forgot how to speak entirely. Lost in his gaze, Taehyung failed to notice the elder's face growing closer and closer until his bubble gum lips were pressed against his.
The kiss took Taehyung by surprise. By the time it hit him, his whole body got thrown to the ground. A loud thud was heard as he hit the cold, hard floor. Looking up, he saw Jungkook wipe away his lips and turn around walking away.
"What the hell just happened?" He whispered to himself.
