Same day as previous chapter

The bell rang at three o'clock. I packed my things and pondered whether or not I should go to the club meeting. I thought about how Jungkook and I had finally interacted again.

"Yeah, I guess I can go now" I swung my bag across my shoulder and walked to the D-1 classroom. 

Once everyone was here, Taeyong explained how the school would be throwing a dance after the first period of exams to help the student with their "stress" and wanted us to perform at least four songs. It could be any genre as long as the lyrics were respectful.

All the students immediately started asking each other to sing together and stuff like that. I watched as they all ran around the room asking each other and then going to ask Taeyong what he thought of their idea.

I walked up to Namjoon and asked him what he had in mind.

"Taeyong, Hoseok, Soyeon and I are thinking of performing a rap song together"

"Nice, that would be an interesting combo" I add.

"I know, right? Taeyong said it was okay so we're probably going to start working on it today" Namjoon was gathering pages and pens, probably to start writing down ideas.

"How about Yoongi, any idea?"

"No, man. You should go ask him. I'm gonna go see Taeyong and the others, okay?" Namjoon smiled and made sure I was okay before running away.

"So, Yoongi. How about you?" I walked over to where Yoongi was and sat down next to him.

"I'm not sure I'm going to participate but Yuqi and Jungkook asked if I could help them with their song"

"Jungkook paired up with Yuqi?" I exclaimed, a bit too loud for my taste.

"Yeah, they just told me. I think they're singing a cover of an Adele song. Which is pretty smart, they have amazing skills and vocal range. Both of them"

"Even Jungkook?" I ask in a disgusted tone.

"He's really good, Tae. Don't look so surprised" I heard Yoongi chuckle and watched him walk over to where Jungkook was. 

He opened his computer and started showing him so things. Not long after, Yuqi came to sit down next to Yoongi who was now sitting in between both of them.

Even though I tried to look at everyone, I couldn't help but stare at Jungkook and Yuqi. Yoongi had left some time ago and the two had been talking non-stop. I had gone to see every group that would participate, except for this one. In my defense, I barely knew Yuqi and didn't feel like going to hype up Jungkook's already huge ego.

It was already six o'clock when I decided to leave. I would usually be the last student, I would often ask Taeyong if I could stay later and lock up. But today I had left early. Jungkook and Yuqi were the only boy/girl duo that would perform for the dance and I couldn't help but wonder why they had chosen each other.

"Maybe they like each other?" I asked myself out loud on my way to the parking lot. Yuqi didn't seem like the fangirl type and I couldn't picture Jungkook having such humane sentiments like love.

"Guess it's really about skill" I unlocked the car and just as I was about to get inside, I heard yelling coming from behind me. I turned around and saw a silhouette by the entrance of the parking lot. I walked closer and hid behind a big SUV.

"I don't care if you think it's a good opportunity! I'm not changing school!"

Wait, that's Jungkook's voice. I stretched my head to try and see better. Muscular shoulders and arms with a tiny waist. It was definitely Jungkook. I mentally facepalmed for having unknowingly analyzed his body and tried to listen to the conversation.

"I'm staying here, mom."

"I know you think that, but I like it here. I don't want to go anywhere else"

"I'm not going to get expelled like last time, don't worry."

"My grades are fine, mom. I have to go, my friend is waiting for me"

"Yeah, love you too"

I waited for him to enter the school once more before I walked back to my car. So, he got expelled, huh? And his mom is worried about his grades? Just how much of a loser is this guy? I chuckled and got into my car, driving back home where I knew I was going to dig up some dirt on Jeon Jungkook from Busan.
