Eventually the song ended. I guided Soojin back to the table as we all sat down. Jaehyun sat down with us and started talking about something he overheard when he was in the men's room. I didn't really pay attention, like I said before, gossip wasn't my thing.

I took my cup and saw it was full. I took a few sips until Yoongi arrived with Jimin. I thought the entire mood would change once he was here but everyone played along. The conversation went smoothly and even I found myself participating quite a lot.

In between laughs and playful nudges with the guys at the table, I feel my head starting to pound. I tried to power through and ignore it but after some time it got too much to handle. I excused myself and went to the restroom.

Once inside, I splashed some water on my face. I sighed when I closed the door and the music faded away. At first, I thought it was the constant noise that made my head buzz but now that I was by myself and in quiet, I could feel it was a real headache. But why would I have a headache? I never had them.

I waited a bit more inside trying to see if it would go away but it only got worse. I now felt pain in my stomach and my hands and arms felt weak.

"Why does it hurt so much?" I clutched my stomach in pain and fell to my knees. I groveled to the wall and rested my back against it. I could feel I was burning up but felt cold on the inside. What was happening to me?

After what felt like an eternity, the door opened but I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes to see who had come in. My entire body felt sleepy, and my head was killing me. I vaguely felt someone lift up my head and check my temperature.

I opened my eyes and tried to see but everything was blurry. After some time, I finally manage to hear them calling my name.

"Taehyung, what happened to you?" Once more, I feel a hand against my cheeks and neck. "I'm going to press this wet thingy to keep you cold, okay?" I feel them loosen the neck thingy I had on and hear the water run.

"Jungkook" I whisper and wait for him to crouch back down. "I think someone spiked my drink"

"No, shit. You look miserable" Even though what he said was mean, he didn't sound smug like he usually did.

My vision eventually cleared up and I could finally see him properly. His eyes kept shooting up and down my entire body as he gently patted my forehead and neck with the wet piece of fabric.

"Who would try to get you like this? Do you have any idea?" He stops and looks me straight in the eyes but I shake my head. I genuinely had no idea.

"This is so fucked up. You could have been seriously messed up." I chuckle and nod my head.

It took me about ten more minutes to start feeling better. Five more and I could finally get up. Even though I insisted I could do it on my own, Jungkook wrapped his hands around my forearm and helped me up.

"I think whoever did this was betting on me drinking alcohol but I wasn't. That's why it wasn't as effective." I mumble. My voice still didn't sound right. I went to drink some water and ran my hand through my hair.

"We should tell the teachers"

"No! If we do they will stop the dance and frisk everyone. It will ruin everybody's night" I tried to say but my throat still felt incredibly dry.

"But your night was already ruined. When I found you, you were almost passed out and your body temperature was way too high"

"I know, but just because I got a little bit more action tonight, it doesn't mean I want everyone's night to suck" I straighten my posture, I still felt kind of stiff.

"That's incredibly...selfless" I almost laughed at how genuinely surprised he sounded.

"Come on, let's go." I point to the door and open it. I could feel Jungkook wasn't convinced but I grabbed his arm and pushed him out the door. "I'm going to go get some air, thanks for your help" I smile and walked away.

I really was grateful for his help, but I thought he wouldn't like it if I mentioned it too much. Something told me he was the kind of person that didn't like to be praised for being good. I open the door and smell the fresh air. This felt good. Even though I felt better, I still wasn't a hundred percent all good. Besides I still had something important on my mind, who on earth would have wanted to spike my drink? And why?
