I walked around the school during our first recess after lunch. Namjoon had stayed in the classroom saying he wanted to sleep a bit more. I didn't question it and went to take a walk by himself. I pause at the vending machine and wait for the three girls to leave before going to buy myself a coke.

"So, what's everyone talking about? I don't remember any of those things happening on Saturday?" Jungkook leans against the vending machine and crosses his arms in front of him.

"I'm sure most people who are saying they don't remember are just pretending so they won't be embarrassed about what they did" I chuckle and open my bottle.

"What do you mean? Nothing weird happened. Even the dancing was on point" I see him get up at the same time as I start walking.

"Come on, it's like you weren't even there" I chuckle but stop when I remembered something. "Were you there now that I think of it?" I had paused to think but I could now feel myself being grabbed and thrown against the wall.

"Okay, student boy. What the hell are you talking about?" He plunged his eyes into mine and I could see the same anger I had already seen a few times before.

"There was an after party at Jackson Wang's house. Everyone went" I held my breath as I said the last part. My eyes were glued to Jungkook to try and see his reaction. His expression hardened and eventually he threw me back against the wall and on the ground before leaving.

"He has got to stop doing that" I mumble, getting up.

Some of my coke had gotten spilled on the floor. I roll my eyes and take out some tissues to wipe it clean. Why would he react like that? It's not like it was my fault he wasn't there. Why wasn't he there though?

I sigh, so many questions. Looking at my phone it's almost time to get back to class. I open the door and walk up to Jungkook's desk. He's sprawled on his chair with both feet hanging out from under the desk.

"You okay?" I ask him. I waited for an answer but none came. "So, why didn't you go?"

"Fuck off, bitch boy!" He kicks me in the shin making me wince and clutch my leg.

"Asshole" I mumble as a reflex but his eyes dart towards me. I roll mine and sit down at my desk.

The teacher arrived and class started. For once, I didn't feel the need to look at Jungkook once for the rest of the day. The bell rung and I packed my things and left the room. I made my way to the club but ran into another student.

"Oh, Taehyung! About that assignment we've been working on, we have to hand it over by Thursday next week" Soojin showed me a picture of the schedule on her phone.

"Oh, right. Well the only thing missing is the presentation. How about we get together this weekend to make it?"

"Great! Let's text more later and pick a time and place?"

"Sure, I'll text you. Goodbye, then" I waved goodbye and walked away.

Talking about Soojin about the presentation made me remember I still had to work on my English project with Jungkook. I stop and hit my head against the closest wall, I so didn't want to do this. I bet even he forgot about it and I'd  have to remind him but that would mean...

"I have to talk to him during music club" I whine.

I eventually peeled my body off the wall and entered the classroom. As usual, most student were already here. Mark had been teaching Sunoo how to play the guitar and Winter had asked Doyoung to help her with her high notes. I sat down and decided I would spend the rest of the evening working on a math homework.

I was halfway through it when I felt someone sit down next to me.

"Why do you come here if you don't participate?" Jimin opened his water bottle and took a few sips.

"My friends are in this club. Besides, I really like the mood here" At first, I kept my textbook opened thinking this would be a quick exchange.

"You're right. The mood here is really nice. Everyone is cool and shares a similar interest, feels like family"

"So, why did you join now? This is your third year" I look at him, but his stare is focused in front of him.

"Because joining a club was social suicide. I always wanted to join, Hoseok as well, but we were scared people would find it lame"

"There's nothing lame about having skills and talent. On the contrary" I closed my book and looked in front of me as well. "I think it's amazing. So, why did you join now?"

"Jungkook. He joined and all of a sudden it wasn't lame. He's really different. He's everything one should hope to be, a dedicated student, a great performer, a surprisingly loyal friend" Jimin looked at me and smiled, it was the first time he'd ever done that.

"He keeps going on and on about how you won't sing in front of him. Any chance I can get in on some of that action? I'd love to hear you sing"

"One day" I smile and hear him chuckle.

"Don't wait too long. If you found something you like and you're good at it, you should hang on to it and never let go. And don't be ashamed of it. Never be ashamed of it" He patted my thigh for an instant before getting up and walking away.

This was clearly the most bizarre conversation I had ever had.

After Jimin had left, I got back to my homework and worked on them until they were finished which was at the same time most of the club members started to leave. I saw Jungkook wave goodbye to Jimin and Hoseok who were leaving and decided I should go talk to him before he leaves as well.

"Jungkook!" I call as I walked up to him.

"What do you want?" He turned his head to look at me and then focused back on his bag.

"About the English project, we should probably start working on it soon"

"Let's meet this weekend"

"Great! Actually, I'm meeting Soojin this weekend as well so we should set a proper day and time" I take out my phone to check my calendar.

"Just make sure we get together this weekend. This grade is more important than you going on date" He scoffed and zipped his bag.

"What date?" I furrowed my eyebrows and looked away from my phone. "I'm meeting her to work on an assignment. If you must know" I add.

"I don't. Here" He snatched my phone away and started typing. "Text me about this weekend. Bye" he handed me my phone back but I didn't have time to look at it, I had to grab him before he left.

"Jungkook, wait!" I grab his arm and make him stop. "When are we going to see each other again so I can finish my drawing?"

"Not today, I'm busy" He pulled his arm and started walking away.

"I don't care if you're busy, you owe me! Unless you want me to tell the other's what I found out the other day-"

"Shut up." Jungkook turned around and placed his hand on my mouth and looked around. "Fine, we can meet here tomorrow after class." His eyes were staring into mine and I felt like he could see my soul. I maintained eye contact for what seemed like an eternity until someone called my name, making me snap out of it.

"Taehyung, let's go!" Yoongi yelled for the end of the row.

"Coming" I looked at Jungkook who eventually let go of me. I took my bag and walked to where Yoongi was.

"This guy bothering you again?" He asked as Jungkook walked closer to us. I shook my head no and looked the ravenette walk past up not before slightly bumping into Yoongi.

"Come on, let's get out of here." I grabbed my bag and left the room with my friend.

His parents still hadn't come back and I decided I would stay with him tonight. He'd usually take the school bus so he could only stay at music club when either Namjoon or me would drive him back. Since I was going to his house today, he had stayed.
