Again

Chapter 5

"Err H-hinata?!" The name rolled Naruto's tongue fluently.

He is already in terror and was stuttering to explain everything.

Then Tetsuhiko managed to run out the house and bumped into his oranged car, gently smacking it with his palm as though he is a zombie in a zombie apocalipse.

Hinata in the other hand, immediately locked gazed at Sasuke, staring at him accusingly as if her eyes were asking 'what did you do.', Sasuke just shrugged in response as he continue beckering with Kiba about the CDs they are watching, they haven't decided what movie to watch.

"Well it's n-not you.... i-i m-me.... errrr—uhhhhhhh."

"I know..." she cut him off with a yell that catches Kiba's and Sasuke's attention. "I apologized on S-sasuke k-kuns behalf..." she then murmured slowly ducking in embarassment.

Sasuke gave her a confused look then she didn't replied and continue on the conversation in the phone.

"Ahhh." Naruto sighed in relief.

Then he didn't know what to talk about.

Is he going to talk about the kiss earlier and apologize for it?

Is he going to talk about her bieng bieng accepted as his female lead?

Is he going to talk about the unrequited past, they had and apologize for it?

Will he ask her 'what's up? ' as if the past didn't just happened?

What will he do? He don't know how to continue the conversation yet he don't want to hung up either.

At times like this. All he wants to do is to tell her how he miss her.

To tell her how beautiful she is, and to tell her how good it is to kiss her again...

He wanted her to know, but.... how will she react to it? Will she be mad? Or indifferent? What if she'll ignore him?

"N-no it's fine... really." He nervously laugh scratching the back of his nape.

Now they are talking as if they never had a relationship...

"Ahhh so-"

"Miss Hinata!" Tetsuhiko exclaimed panting, he somehow made it inside the car and he is now in the driver's seat beside Naruto. "Sorry for the trouble..." Tetsuhiko smiled.

"Tetsuhiko san!" Hinata acclaimed.

Naruto 's POV:

"Ughhh Manager!!!" I hissed trying to grab my Manager's phone, he is now having a happy chat with Hinata in the phone while i can't hear anything!!!

"Manager!!!" I whisper-shouted. Trying to get my attention but no matter how much i try, im always failing, there he is with his stupid face, smiling talking to Hinata.

I feel somekind of jealous.

That should be me.

Tut.

A beep rang my ears, then i gazed at my manager who sighed talking the phone away from the shell of his ear, still a smile curve his lips.

"So wut?" I asked with accent pouting, his expression then change from enthusiasm to grumpiness. His brows furrowed placing his phone in the back pocket of his jeans.

"She agreed."

"T-that's great!" I stammered with a nervous laugh, honestly, i don't know how will this work, should we tell them that Hinata and i had a past together? Or pretend that we hardly know each other?

"So..." He paused breaking into a soft smile. "Shall we drink? As a celebration!"

"Y-yeah sure!" Reluctantly replied, scratching the back of my head.

"H-hey... you okay?" He asked in concerned as though he is peeking onto my face, trying to decipher the feelings buried within me.

I just shooked my head and smiled with my teeths exposing.

"Now now... let's go... shall we?" I enthusiastically replied. "Go out there so i can drive to Ichiraku bar."

"Ahh yeah!" He nodded going out my car as i move to the driver's seat, within a minute he made it infront, sitting beside me.

"Hey!" He suddenly said out of the blue. I just replied with a small 'hmm.' Glimpsing towards him, then towards the road as i started clicking the key.

"You aren't lying to me, are you?" He asked desperately. Even tho i didn't gazed at him, i could feel his face getting close towards me.

"H-ha???" I asked. "W-what do you m-mean?" I barely uttered as i gasped from my seat, and almost made the running car crashed.

"Ahh nothing." He mumbled. "I know you will never lie to me, Ne?"

"Ahhh y-yeah. Sure!" I hesitantly replied.

Im sorry Tetsuhiko...

"I will never lie to you..." i mumbled almost unheard.

I have to lie...

To avoid more trouble...

To avoid more issue...

To avoid hurting Hinata again...

Maybe...

Oneday....

I'd have courage to tell you, but for now, i decided, that our past will stay in the past, and i will try my best not to bring it up again.

And besides.

I know...

I don't have feelings for her anymore...

And i guess she also felt the same, since she is almost indifferent when she saw me.

I know, if she still have feelings for me, she'd reject the project...

And now, she didn't.

She accepted it.

It just indicate that she don't care anymore... that she didn't feel anything anymore...

Ughhhh Naruto stop this nonsense...

Stop overthinking!!!!

If you'll continue thinking about this, you'll ended up bieng obvious....

"Naruto!" My manager snapped me out.

I just hummed in response taking a glimpse towards him, then towards the road again...

"What we're you thinking huh?" He asked with brows furrowed. I just shrugged my shoulders as i turn the wheels.

"Ohh... come onn!!!!" I whined as though im starting to hate his annoyance.

"Ahhhh you are clearly..... spacing out.... spit it!!!" He almost yelled like a whiny child. A brat perhaps.

"No im nottt." I protested.

"Narutooooo!!!!!" He whined more. Shaking my shoulders.

"Oi oi." I hazed as my car starting to turn towards the bushes. "You're gonna get us killed dumbass!!!!" I added shoving  his hands away.

Dumbass!

He started moving away and behave.

Good.

Because if he will not, i'll tie him up.

What a brat he is. But even tho he is a brat.... i considered him as my brother...

And i love my brother...

It hurts me hiding a secret from him...
But it's for the both of us...
