A click of a tongue sounded thru the room as the blonde individual continue to sit within his thoughts, the noise around him fading into the background.
The things around him were as normal as day and night to him that he almost didn't need to even use a shred of willpower to think of them. As he turned his head slightly to avoid a stapler that was hurled at his head it almost looked as if he was just posing as he stoically continued to sit on the desk as the commotion around him continued.
The owner of the thrown stapler thrown brashly against the floor in front of him which was already stained with the blood of others before him.
He looked at him every fiber in the man's face and body screaming in fear as he himself continued to try to glare at the blonde monster in front of him.
The monster seemed to come out of his trance as he looked at the man a slow blink being the only movement he displayed before he kneeled in front of the man. A smile appeared on his face.
"How much would you give for your pair?" his monotone voice said.
"What?"
"Your pair.... what would you give for them?" He said the smile seemed to reach the blonde's eyes as he continued to look upon the other man.
The man stared at him. Confusion... then realization followed by horror marked his face.
"Whatever it is you can have it just leave my pair alone. What was it you wanted? I'll talk."
"Ah so that much." he said as he continued to smile, raising himself from the man's level.
"Nahoya." he said loudly, the name more of an order. "Not a sound, and we won't be around them." Mikey said to the man as he put a hand on his shoulder before he returned to his desk.
"Something on your mind Manjiro. " Takamitchi sounded it wasn't like Mikey to get involved this early or play these twisted games.
"I'm just trying to figure out the kitten I'm raising. I've never raised anything before. It seems as if shes becoming tame around me. " He said watching the scene before him unfold as if he was just watching leisurely at it like it was a television show. The man had been unbeatable his whole life, he had never needed to conform to someone else wants or needs. Yes, he had friends but even with them they would cater to him first. There was still a hierarchy to their friendship, here although he held the leash around her neck from buying her, she just pulled against him, unconcerned with her price tag or the status of their relationship. He could try to beat her into submission but then she could just shut down all pheromones to him and she'd be useless to him. He could try some gentle training like an animal, continuing to yank her chain but if he pulled too hard, he could snap her neck in a rage from one of those moments and then he would still lose at the end. It wasn't simple. She wasn't replaceable at all. Or just easily enough. He went through two decades of his life as an alpha suffering before he found her. Could he handle another two decades? Could he take the life he had before after realizing the sweet calmness he was experiencing now. Could he handle the hell again?
"So, what's the problem boss isn't her tameness just what you wanted?" Takamitchi questioned his old friend as he looked at him. "If it's all working out, why are you upset?"
"Maybe it's a ploy. You shouldn't trust those things." Sanzu's voice resounded through the chaos causing a shiver to form on the back of their necks as the heavily distaste laced voice didn't try to cover a shred of hatred.
The sharp glares from all the alpha's with pairs instantly silencing the opposition. Even if they did agree with the alpha, they wouldn't openly admit it.
"That or she's developing sherlock syndrome?" said Happy nonchalantly as he continued his rhythmic beating unconcerned with the carnage below his hand.
"Aww I always love a good love story." Koko said that twisted grin on his face annoying Mikey ever so slightly.
"Are you being sarcastic?" Mikey bluntly said to Koko as he continued to sift through some of the papers within the mess of the office.
"Mikey...." Draken exasperated replied clicking his tongue at the stupidity of his actions. "Of cou.."
"No think about it. Why does sherlock syndrome exist if not to show love blooming thru any circumstance?" Happy cut in looking up from the mountain of papers he was sifting through to take back to their base.
"Sherlock syndrome? Do you all mean Stockholm syndrome?" Inui voice sounded.
"Pretty sure they do." Angry pointedly responded. "Happy never really did good at school."
"They taught that?" a couple of voices said in unison.
"On another note, these papers don't look too pleasing." Koko voiced a sharp breath of annoyance accompanying his words.
"Looks like we got another rabid dog trying to claim territory." Inui agreed with his friend causing Mikey to exit his thoughts, annoyance littering his face.
"You'd believe they'd know better." Angry said cutting into the meeting as he walked into the room.
"That took a bit longer than expected?" Happy questioned his brother.
"We had some guests at the other house."
"That's a lot more than we expected." Draken cut in looking at Mikey.
"No, we had another tail." Angry said as he went to his brother looking at him continuing to pound the mess on the floor. A questioning look on his face.
"Continue." Mikey said pointedly as Nahoya continued.
"Another tail?" Inui said looking up from the paperwork.
"Seemed professional we got nothing they decided to incinerate themselves then talk."
They all turned to their leader as he took in the information.
"Seems as if the snakes are finally coming out of their hole." Draken said to Mikey.
"Seems so."
"Manjiro I'll start investigating." Takamitchy cut in. The secretary looked uneased with the current situation. Commotions like this usually took a lot of planning and usually didn't happen until they felt as if they'd win. The catalyst being the most important whether they'd lose or win.
Manjiro nodded.
"If we are done here lets go." Mikey said "Nahoya." The orange head gave his classic smile as he stopped the beating already tired as he turned to leave.
"Let's get some food Angry."
As the group filed out the leader stayed behind instead opting to knee besides what was left of the man from before.
"So that much, huh. I think im starting to understand." As he got up to walk towards the door.
Takamitchi looked at his friend.
"Mikey...."
"Takamitchy it's turning out more important than I thought before."
"Understood." The black-haired individual nodding in mutual sentiments over his leader's dilemma.
"Get someone else to take over, preferable female and an omega. "
"Did you change your mind?"
"No. I'm just changing the way I'm raising my omega."
"These bonds really do burn into you. Don't they?" the secretary said lightly to his boss.
"Terrifyingly so. So, I'm trusting just you with it..."
The secretary smiled at his boss as he pulled out his phone excited although not quite sure what it was it. His boss walked hastily out the door.
"Hurry up Takamitchy." he told his lagging friend.
"Where are we going next?"
"Home."
