"What do you mean you were killed? If you were murdered how are you here with me now?"
"God, Luke. It doesn't take a genius to work it out." She replied, sassily. I just looked at her, a confused expression on my face.
And then it hit me.
She was a ghost. I didn't think ghosts were real but it was the only explanation I had. Everything was starting to make sense now.
All the loud noises I could hear on the first night were her. The cracked picture frames must of been moved by her. The girl I saw on the landing right before I fell asleep must have been her.
"Liana? Whats your full name?" I asked, after a couple minutes of silence.
"Liana Alicia Price."
"Liana Alicia Price," I repeated, "Lap..You're Lap! Lap is you!" I yelled suddenly, startling Liana slightly.
"Uh, suprise?"
"Everything was you." I replied, quieter this time. "But if you're a ghost how come I can see you? How come Ashton saw you?"
"I don't know." She shrugged.
"This is weird. You're dead. How come you look just like a normal person?"
She just laughed and shrugged again, turning back to face the window.
"Are you scared of me?" She asked, her back facing me.
"Um, I don't know. Not really. You don't look like you'll hurt me." I replied, scratching the back of my neck nervously.
"I won't do anything to harm you, Luke. I've been doing quite the opposite actually."
"What do you mean?"
"Emily. You couldn't see it but I could. I knew what she was thinking. She didn't like you Luke, she was just using you for your money. I was protecting your money and making sure she didn't take it." Liana told me, looking directly at me when she spoke this time.
"That's not true," I shook my head, not believing what I was hearing. Emily wasn't like that. She was different.
"It is true, trust me. Remember that one time you were sick and in the shower? And Emily just randomly came round. Yeah, she wasn't here to see you Luke. She came to take Ashton's wallet that coincidentally went missing a day later."
"And when you were out shopping and you were going to buy her all those expensive clothes but you accidentally forgot your wallet. I hid it so you wouldn't take it and she would have to pay for them herself. Except her Dad didn't give her the money, it was all Ashton's."
"So you were the Liana that text me? You made her think I cheated so she would end it?" I asked, after taking all this information in. She nodded.
"Well thankyou, I guess." I said, shrugging, making her laugh slightly at my awkwardness.
"And Luke you're an absolute idiot. Do you know how dangerous it is to leave a metal spoon in the microwave. You should be glad I was there to stop it."

"See you soon then?" I asked Liana after we had spent the day talking and just chilling in my room.
"You're not very smart are you? Of course you'll see me soon. I'm stuck here forever you pleb. If you need me I'll be in the shed over there." She replied, pointing at a small building at the very end of the garden.
"What the hell is a pleb?" I replied, causing Liana to roll her pretty blue eyes at me. "And are you sure you wouldn't much rather just stay here now that we, I mean I, know about you?"
"God no, I hate it here. It's cosier and nicer in my shed anyway. See you later Luke." She replied before walking out the door, turning round to give me a small wave before she disappeared out of my site.
I closed the door and walked into the living room, where the other 3 boys were, not suprisingly, playing Fifa. I sighed before collapsing on to the sofa, yawning.
"Who was that?" Calum asked, looking at me quickly before his eyes returned to the screen in front of him.
"Liana." I replied shortly, not bothering to tell them all about her.
"Well?" Ashton replied, looking up from his phone.
"Well what?" I asked, chuckling.
"Well, is anything going to happen between you two? She seems like a nice girl."
"Probably not, things are already pretty complicated."
