Trying to process everything is so overwhelming. I don't know how I should feel. Mir still hasn't woken up. My weirdo of a mother thought it was cool to pop up out of nowhere. And a baby I never knew was growing inside of me is now gone.
"Who would have thought," I blurted out, walking to the door and knocking.
yeah, I'm going crazy talking to myself 😀
"Hey baby," she said, opening the door and giving me a hug.
"Aw, my pretty girl," she said, making me look at her. "How you holding up?" she asked, heading to the kitchen. I followed behind her, glancing at the different pictures of Mir and her I had seen a thousand times.
But a new one stood out—of me and him—which made me smile because, at this point, a bitch got no more tears left.
She noticed me staring at the photo and sighed, "I put that one up recently. Thought it might bring some good vibes you know."
"Yea," I said, making my way to the kitchen. Elle handed me a plate of food and a glass of water.
"Thanks, but I'm not really hungry," I said, touching my stomach.
Ever since I found out, I've been catching myself randomly rubbing my stomach. That's why I came to see Elle. Over the past few weeks, she's been making sure I'm good. From the looks of it, she's been taking it better than me.
"Mhm, really? What was the last thing you ate?" She questioned with her hand on her hip.
"Uh—" I tried to answer, but she cut me off.
"Exactly, proves my point." She crossed her arms.
"Didn't even let me think," I chuckled. "But I wanted to tell you something. Cause you have the right to know."
