"Y'all, I'm goin' to hell," I cried, opening the door to Nya and Kal.
"What happened?" Kal asked as they followed me to the bathroom. I couldn't even say it; I just showed them the six different positive pregnancy tests laid out on the counter.
"Oh my god, wait, you actually are?" Nya said, excitement lighting up her face. I nodded, feeling these damn emotions.
"Ion get it, why would you go to hell?" Kal questioned, looking genuinely confused.
"'Cause I was drinkin' non-stop on the honeymoon," I explained. We had just come back from our two-week honeymoon in Fiji a couple of days ago. I hadn't been feeling well since, and I hadn't even been to the boutique yet because I was so sick. But in the back of my mind, I kinda knew I could be pregnant. But didn't wanna believe it still traumatized.
"I think you should be good," Nya said nodding.
"Imma have a baby oh my gawd," I said, sitting on the toilet lid, feeling overwhelmed. "What am I gonna do?"
"Bitch, you grown. You almost 25," Kal reminded me, trying to lighten the mood.

"Shit, I be forgettin'. I feel like I'm damn near 20 still," I said, shaking my head.
"Were y'all trying for a baby?" Kal questioned.
"No, we said if it happens it happens," I said.
"It's clearly happening." Kal said looking closer at the test.
"So, umm, where's Cash?" Nya asked, looking around like he might pop out from somewhere.
"He at the shop. He said he ain't gonna be home 'til late 'cause he got a couple of long sessions today." I had my head in my hands.
