CHAPTER 50: Conflict
RYOSUKE YAMADA 山田涼介's POV
"Huh!? I never agreed on doing that! Chotto matte, Hikaru! Don't you dare tell Ayumi about that!" We heard Dai-chan suddenly said in panic while Hikaru just laughed as he simply sat beside Keito with a smile on his face. We're not sitting together but their voices were so loud to the point that I could actually hear them so clearly from where I am. Hahaha!
"Relax. I won't speak a single word about this to her, okay?" We heard Hikaru simply said while grinning at Dai-chan which made me just shake my head while smiling bitterly as I watched them. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Dai-chan and Ayumi-san arguing about something before or even if they did, I wonder how they fixed their misunderstanding? I couldn't stop myself from sighing once again as I remembered everything that had happened to us recently especially, last night. Hah ~ Seriously... Was it really my fault?
"Ryosuke, catch." I was back to my senses when I suddenly heard Kota call me and throw that beer in a can to me. Good thing that I catched it but...what is this for? And before I could even ask him that, I suddenly heard him speak once again as if he had just read what's running in my mind right now.
"Just in case you want to drink right now. We're now celebrating Keito and Yuya's birthdays today anyways." I heard Kota said while Yuto and Inoo-chan stood beside him. Ahh...
"Ahh... Thanks but I'm not in the mood to drink right now." I said as I placed the beer on the table and leaned my back on the seat once again as I took a deep sighed. Aside from that, it's too early to drink right now... How can I even enjoy this day when I know that Ayana and I are now in a situation like this?
"Eh? Doushita? Did something happen between the two of you?" I heard Yuto ask as he sat beside me while Inoo-chan and Kota were sitting on the sofa across from me.
"Don't tell us that nothing happened because we can all notice that both you and Ayana-chan have been acting strange ever since you two arrived." Inoo-chan straightforwardly said as he comfortably sat on the sofa while opening that beer in a can that Kota gave me just now.
"Are you guys avoiding each other?" I heard Kota ask, which made me just shake my head.
"We're not avoiding each other and I also don't have any reason for me to do that." I said as I crossed my arms on my chest. We're not really avoiding each other. It's just that... I think we couldn't just find the right timing for us to talk about what happened recently, especially last night... Eh? Chotto... Isn't that just the same as avoiding each other? Argh! This is so frustrating!
"Then... Is Ayana-chan avoiding you?" I was back to my senses when I suddenly heard Inoo-chan ask that. Eh?
"H-huh?" I asked because I actually don't know whether Ayana's really avoiding me or is it just me? Eh? Wait, I just said that I have no reason to avoid her! Mattaku...
