From that meeting, they all grew a little closer. She actually found it quite entertaining. She couldn't help but admit she had fun when she came to the meetings.
They all grew exceptionally close with Marcelline. They all walked her to her classes to make sure nobody would set a touch on her and watched her like a hawk. This annoyed her but made her feel superior, like she was a goddess.
Tom grew close with the girl as well. She would never be seen in her own dormitory, spending most of her time with them. Helping them understand spells they could use and helping them with homework. She didn't mind; she didn't feel as lonely as she did.
She had also been on a hunt in every book she could find. She was on a hunt to help Tom find some sort of blood relative. She had given up on his surname of Riddle and moved onto Marvolo. She had endless amounts of books around her when she came across the name and her eyes widened. She shot up and started running towards where Tom might be. She had never been so excited in her whole life. She didn't even realize someone was turning the corner but she fell completely on top of them.
"Watch where the fu- Marcelline?" Abraxas said helping the girl up.
"Where's Tom"
"In his dorm, is everything ok?" He said but she turned and started running towards the Slytherin common room again. She said the Slytherin password and ran into the common room and into Tom's dorm. She didn't bother knocking as this was so important.
She burst through the door and seen a very shirtless Tom Riddle standing near his closet. He turned around quickly to point his wand at whoever decided to burst in his dorm without knocking but faltered as he seen her green eyes.
"I found something" she said and his face dropped. He lowered his wand and nodded as she went to put the book on his desk.
"The Gaunt family is a well known Pure-Blood family. The last known ancestors of Salazar Slytherin could be found in Little Hangleton." She read out loud noticing Tom hovering over her, reading along.
"Marvolo Gaunt was born in 1890 and produced two children, Morfin and Merope Gaunt" he said and his eye lit up.
Marcelline stood up and suddenly he reached out and embraced the girl. He had never done this with any other person but he seriously did appreciate what she had done for him. She tensed up so much as he touched her but he failed to notice it.
"Thank you Marcelline, I am seriously in your debt now" he said letting go of the girl. She smiled lightly, happy she could help him.
"Are you going to go?" She said and her eyes trailed down to take in his very shirtless form. He was skinny but toned and muscular; she couldn't help but shutter and look away.
"Hm?" He said not taking his eyes away from the book where he read the news over and over.
"Little Hangleton. Are you going to go?" She said referring to the place where the book had stated the Gaunt family lived.
"During Christmas break I will travel there." He said not taking his eyes off the book, in such disbelief.
"Ok Mr.Heir of Slytherin" she said as a slight joke but he sat upright at the comment.
"Go with me to Slughorns party" he said staring at the girl. "What?"
"Go with me to Slughorns party" he said again with the same demanding tone. In the state he was in she could never say no, god if he wanted she would get on her knees and bow to him if he looked like this. He looked happy, and it was a good look on him.
Her silence did nothing to make him assume she didn't want to go with him. "I will pick you up at 8pm" he said and he walked over to close the book.
"Wear something nice, there ought to be very important people here. We must make a good impression" he said and she only nodded slightly not saying no. She only hoped that he didn't think this was some sort of date, but knowing him means he didn't think so. She felt relieved.
