As Janurary came Tom and Marcelline we're everywhere where each other were. There was not a moment where they were alone. He simply didn't want the girl out of his sight for even a second.
"Your birthday is coming up" she said and his eyes shot up. They were sat in their usual place in the library. She was watching him read. He was a very handsome man and even Marcelline couldn't deny it.
"The day I was born is no big thing to me" he said looking back to the book. She felt relieved that he felt the same way. She does not do big things on her birthday.
"Your birthday is the same as mines?" He said looking up again. "Did you seriously just look into my mind. I let my guard down for one second" she said in a breathy laugh.
"Don't let your guard down if you don't want your thoughts invaded." He said in a matter of factly. She rolled her eyes.
"Just as you I see my birth date as another day" she said and he slowly nodded.
"Why didn't you go to your parents for Christmas?" He said and she looked up abruptly.
"Trying to get information out of me Riddle?" She said with a smirk which made Tom roll his eyes and lean back in his seat.
"I am simply trying to get to know you. You intrigue me and I do not wish to invade your mind." He said and she scoffed. "You couldn't if you wanted to" she said and he raised his eyebrows in surprise at her tone. "You underestimate me darling"
"I see how you are and I see that your ambition will lead you to great places which is why I converse with you. But do not underestimate me Riddle, for you do not know me and what I am capable of." She said leaning back in her seat as well.
"Was that a threat?" He said.
"If you wanted it to be" she said and he gave a laugh that she rarely heard. It was like music to her ears.
"You and me could do great things. I do not underestimate you for I can feel the power you have radiating off of you. We could be partners in this; together conquering everything in our ways" he said with his eyes lighting up. He looked so beautiful talking about his motive. His face and dark eyes lit up and he looked..happy.
"Deal" she said shaking his hand and with that it was sealed. She was his forever.
Abraxas walked in the library and his eyes shot towards the laugher of the girl he oh so adored. He seen her facing towards him with a face pure of laughter and joy. He saw the back of a boy and immediately felt anger. How could she be so happy with someone else but not him. What did he do wrong?

Finally leaving the library she gathered her things swiftly. Tom had left an hour ago to go do some 'business' that he said he would tell her about in a few days. She couldn't help but be excited for what the future may hold for them. Everybody knew that Tom was brilliant and was going places and they could say the same for her; together they could be unstoppable.
