Tom did not like being lied to.

Yes he was a liar, and a good one at that.

He did not like being lied too though.

Marcelline had told him she would be there. He searched for the girl. Yet she was not there.

She lied to him.

"My lord" Abraxas said entering the room they shared.

"Did you happen to see Marcelline today?" Tom said breaking the silence. Abraxas stood there still.

"I did not My Lord. She will most likely be at the library though. We have a big test in Potions coming up" he said and he nodded. Suddenly he got up from his bed and left the room leaving Abraxas alone.

Marcelline was in fact there. There she stood with all her beauty. Her long dark hair was perfectly laid and her knee high socks showed only a little bit of thigh from her skirt. Oh she made Tom mad in his own head.

He watched her every move from the other side of the Library. She was gathering a couple books and suddenly went back to her table. Tom was about to get up to join her but seen someone beat him to it.

A boy

Golden locks of hair and a fruity smile on his face. He talked with Marcelline. She watched him with interest.

Tom thought of every little way he could make this man suffer. He was talking to his Marcelline. He was sitting across from her. Breathing her air. He didn't deserve to be there. He didn't deserve to be in her presence.

"Staring is gonna get you no where"

Tom rolled his eyes. Her voice echoed in his head. She had broken his wall and entered his mind. He did not care. He hopes that she enjoys the violent scenes he was replaying over and over in his head.

"Excuse me" Tom said making his way over to the table. He had no control in his feet. He watched her smile fade as he walked over. Suddenly he made contact with the boy.

Golden eyes with pale skin. A Ravenclaw? Everything Tom wasn't.

"I need to speak with Marcelline quickly" Tom said hovering over him. The boy stared up at him then back at Marcelline.

"I'll meet you back in the common room" she said and he nodded with a saddened look. He got up and left with Tom's eyes on his every move. He then replaced him in his seat.

He did not say anything. He just watched her. Waiting to see what she would say; if she would apologize.

"Did you have fun at the party last night?" She said suddenly and Tom flared his nostrils.

"Actually yes but it was missing a certain asset. What was it, oh I remember. You" he said and she smirked.

"Sorry I got caught up" she said and he clenched his knuckles.

"With the Ravenclaw?" He gritted through his teeth.

"His name is Christian" she said and he felt a flash of red over his mind.

"Why are you wasting your time with that pathetic excuse of a wizard?" He said.

"Why are you wasting your time with the blonde bimbo?" She said back and he stared at her.

"I'll give you my answer and you give me yours" she said with a cocky smile and walked away from him.

-

"Who are you?" Christian suddenly said breaking their silence.

"Excuse me?"

"You are a beautiful girl. Very mysterious. Silent. Incredibly intelligent. I've literally met no one like you before. I wanna get to know you. The real you, not the wall you put up" he said staring at her.

"I promise you, Christian. You don't wanna know the real me" she said and went back to her book. He did not press on. She liked that about him. He did not persist.

She did not read his mind. She did not question why he all of a sudden started talking to her. She seemed it not necessary. She enjoyed the difference. He was bright, bubbly, enthusiastic. He was the opposite of her. It was a good change.

Tom had a plan though.

A plan to get his Marcelline back.

No matter what it takes.
