Chapter 6: A Dog-tastic Day

"Oh come on! That's the 5th time!" Katelyn threw popcorn at the T.V while looking up from her book.

You were over at the girls' place(again) watching a marathon of Once Upon A Time and lounging around, really.

You looked at Katelyn with a raised brow and the bluenette smirked.

"I know what you're thinking. Reading a book and watching a show is an Art, (Y/N). Don't worry young one, I'll teach you my ways someday." She laughed a fake evil laugh.

Well she was right. It was kind of strange to you that she was reading while watching but that's was Katelyn. A woman who always broke norms.

The doorbell rang and the girl adjacent to you sighed, throwing her feet off the couch.

"I'll get it!"

You turned back to the show and heard a little bit of ruckus before a bunch of cats flooded into the house.

Katelyn went into a rage.

"Kawaii-Chan come get your dumb cats! Kawaii-Chan!!"

Aphmau came down the stairs.

"Why are you yelling? Kawaii-Chan isn't here. She's working the noon shift remember-Whoa! Kitties!!" The girl cheered and you looked over at the onslaught of cats.

"Umm...Wow." you said, approaching the small felines that stood around the girls' feet.

Katelyn raged on until Aphmau noticed a cat was missing.

"We need to find that cat. I don't want it finding a place to pee in the house."

"I hope it pees on your stuff." Aphmau said to Katelyn.

You smirked.

As Katelyn took off to find the 9th cat, you and Aphmau stayed behind and admired their sweaters.

"Hm..Their sweaters are..Kinda cute." You said.

"Yeah! Let me be the first to say it because I know Katelyn didn't say it but your sweaters are so cute and you're all good kitties for keeping them on."

"Thank you~." One of the cats meowed and rubbed against your leg as Aphmau looked around.

"Um..Aph..I think the cat just spoke.." you said, slightly bewildered.

The girl snapped out of it and looked over at you.

"Oh my Irene (Y/N)! I think the cat just spoke!"

"Yeah-I-Nevermind.." you sighed.

"Alright (Y/N). You check the kitchen and the dining room, I'll check the bedrooms. Go it? Good!" Aphmau said before running off.

"So we're just gonna ignore the fact that the cat talked? Okay then.." you said, slowly scooting away from the cats.

"Bye kitties..." You said before dashing off as well.

"Aphmau! (Y/N)! Where are all the other Cats!?" Katelyn yelled just as you and Aphmau entered the living room again.

"I trusted them! What!" Aphmau whined.

Your lips pursed.

"I didn't."

"All the cats are missing and we still haven't found the last cat!" Katelyn whined.

Well atleast she was taking responsibility despite not giving a darn about them at the beginning.

With reluctance, you finally agreed to check the basement with Aphmau.

"What's so bad in the basement that you don't wanna see?" You asked as you led the way down the stairs despite it not even being your house.
