Kissing? No. Michi and Reese were making out under the mistletoe, and Kawaii-Chan basically collapsed into your arms screaming her denial.
"Kawaii-Chan? Kawaii-Chan! Snap out of it! What's wrong? You're crushing (Y/N)!" Katelyn said.
"So wait...That was just a dream, in a dream? Is..This real life?" The Mei'fwa asked.
Katelyn knocked her into reality.
"Katelyn!"
You fought a smile.
"Ha. This is real."
"Ouch! Does this mean Reese-Senpai hasn't...Oh no!" Kawaii-Chan said as she leaned herself back into your arms.
"Kawaii-Chan doesn't like Michi-chan!!!" The pink-haired girl sobbed into your arms, pouting.
You slowly tried to comfort her, albeit, awkwardly.
Aphmau came back downstairs after presumably locking Katelyn's door and you scooted over with Kawaii-Chan still in your arms so she could converse with the other guests.
You heard the word 'sprinkles' come up and suddenly Garroth was crying too.
The blonde sobbed, scooting away from his friends to cry.
You felt slightly bad and patted his arm awkwardly.
What was happening? You were the least sympathetic person you knew!
Laurance briefly explained the dilemma to Aphmau.
Upon hearing what happened, you eyed the girl, knowing fully well what the truth was, but she simply chuckled nervously and looked away.
Garroth cried a little more, taking your hand, and Kawaii-Chan looked up with a sudden sparkle in her eyes and a smile.
"Kawaii-Chan feels better now! Thanks (Y/N)-Sama!" She skipped off, allowing you to focus your full attention to the blonde beside you.
You allowed him to lean against your arm as he finished crying.
"Um...Do you wanna talk about her?"
"Hm? Oh..Sorry about that (Y/N). I invited you to come with me but you've had to babysit me and cheer me up all night. You're a great friend!"
He smiled at you and you nervously gave a small smile.
"Awe, come on, you won't even give me your real smile? You gave it to Andronicus." He pointed out, referring to the other day.
"That's because he's a turtle, Garroth." You replied.
He sighed.
"Yeah, I can understand. Sprinkles was so important to me too. She was just a cat but she was also more than that. The small time we spent together was special." His eyes seemed to shine as he reminisced.
You chuckled, thinking of Aphmau as a cat still managing to woo Garroth and the blonde's head whipped around so fast he almost got whiplash.
"Did you just laugh?"
"No." You said, becoming stone-faced.
"You did! I heard it! You laughed (Y/N)!"
His smile was so big it scared you.
"I made you laugh!" He just wouldn't stop smiling.
"You probably heard someone else.." you said, but he wouldn't budge.
"It was wonderful..." He said, looking at you.
The moment seemed to come to a still and the world around you seemed to slow.
"I...Um...I think Laurance is trying to get with Aphmau." You pointed out, motioning to the two standing by the (now fixed) door.
"Oh crud you're right!" He stood up and ran off, leaving you with a small smile.
You instantly covered your mouth with your hand before standing up.
The night was yet to get chaotic.

"Hey, you got here just in time." You said as you opened the door.
The hooded man walked in and gave a curt nod.
"I could swear I came here late." He said, a small smile playing at his lips.
"You purposefully came late? Aaron!"
He adjusted his hood.
"Yeah. I heard it's fashionable."
"Well-"
"Oh! My grandma's mistletoe!"
You both looked over as Garroth and Laurance ran around holding the mistletoe.
Aaron sprang into action, knocking the boys to the floor in an instant.
As he hung the mistletoe up and looked at Aphmau, you then realized what he was talking about when he said 'she' would like the Christmas lights.
It seemed the hooded man also had a thing for your new friend.
You wanted to be surprised but it seemed like that was a norm on this street by now.
Garroth pouted as Aaron and Aphmau talked and you nudged his shoulder.
"Um..You okay?" You asked gently.
He perked up at your words.
"Oh I'm fine (Y/N). Thanks for asking." He looked over at Aphmau and Aaron and you felt your lips form a thin line which you quickly turned into a small smile.
"Maybe you should go talk to her and Apologize." You suggested.
Garroth thought for a moment then nodded.
"That's a great idea! Thank you (Y/N)!" He ran off and you shrugged, hoping he would make up for his behavior some how.

You had not expected the boys to come tumbling down the stairs in one large heap.
Celestia leapt into your arms and you stared at the mess.
"My Irene! Thanks (Y/N)! Awww, Celestia are you okay?" Aphmau took the puppy from your hands and you looked at the boys.
"Hey boys~." You gave a small smirk, gesturing to the mistletoe hanging above them.
They all screeched.
"D-does this mean you'll kiss me now Angel? You're standing right here anyways." Dante cried.
You rolled your eyes.
"No never."
Dante sobbed some more and you held your hand out for Garroth to take.
He got up and smiled at you.
"Besides, she's already under here with me!" You barely had time to register his words before a set of lips graced your hand lightly.
"Thank you for your help M'lady." He said as he pulled away.
You swore you were redder than Rudolph's nose.
Thank goodness Kawaii-Chan wasn't around.
