(A/N: Did y'all hear we're getting Roleplays back? Next year!!! I have to at least try and finish S1 and 2 by then! No promises though babes😭).

You could barely focus on your shift this morning, it felt, almost, forced. Never in your 20+ years of life did you think you'd contradict yourself the way you had the previous day. You LITERALLY went against everything you'd told yourself you would do when moving. Lay low, not engage in too much, and especially not do risky things like be on stage, in a play, in front of a bunch of other people. You'd honestly rather play dodgeball blindfolded with earphones in against the best team in the country.

You could hardly sleep the night before as you spent the whole time tossing and turning, resisting the almost impossible urge to text Katelyn and explain how you'd made a mistake. How you absolutely could not do this no matter what role it was, and how you loved and supported her and would be more than happy to bring baked goods everyday during practice and cheer her and everyone else on, but you absolutely couldn't do this. You wanted to, you really did, but you knew that your blue haired friend was on a roll now that she had the support from all her friends and she was taking a step in conquering all her fears. Plus, there was the promise you made to the oh so charming Jeffory. He sure was charming when convincing you to do this, but now his promise of food seemed miniscule compared to the anxiety you were experiencing.

As you sat, finishing up your time with the turtles, you pondered what role you'd get. You knew that, thankfully, the major and most important roles; Romeo and Juliet, would be taken by other people, but where would that leave you? You could literally get any other role besides that. You figured that hopefully, Katelyn would use her excellent director discernment to see that the best role for you was no doubt a non speaking background role.

You stood up, just about to go on your lunch break when you were jump scared by a certain blue eyed blonde.

"Garroth!" You said, trying to regain your composure and calm yourself. Your heart felt like it was running in a race against Usain Bolt.

"Oh, did I scare you? Sorry about that." He said with his usual goofy smile as he sheepishly held up a bag of takeout.

Your eyes went to the food and your mood instantly lifted.

"I happened to be around and thought I'd bring you lunch." He said as you gathered the rest of his things and followed him out to a nearby park bench.

As you took a seat, you noticed a stack of papers in his other hand. You were able to peek at the title and as soon as he noticed, his entire face went red. He quickly set the scripts down on the opposite side of the bench so you could sit next to him.

"I've been trying to practice all morning for the play auditions. I must have forgot them in my rush to get here." He chuckled in embarrassment.

You just listened to him as he handed you some food but then raised a brow.

"You're rush to get here? I thought you just 'happened to be around'?" You pondered.

He went red again.

"D-Did I say rush, I meant way?" He said, cerulean eyes avoiding your gaze.

"Whats up with you? You know that....I mean...I'm not very good at this stuff but, you can tell me anything..." You said as best you could, trying not to get shy or anxious. You were so afraid you'd mess up comforting one of your friends and they'd never trust you again but at the same time this was so foreign to you.

He looked at you, the red slowly draining from his face.

"I was just..worried about you, you know. Yesterday when you told Katelyn you'd act in the play, I knew it was because you felt obligated to in order to help her out. I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He peeked at you, still a little red faced but not nearly as much as the minutes before.
