When you woke up the following morning, you felt a chill.
You felt a slight breeze grace your shoulders.
A hand went to your bare arms.
Why hadn't you worn a jacket to sleep?
Everything registered in your brain all at once and you yelped, pushing yourself off the man whom you'd been leaning against.
You. Were. Human. Again.
You were human again!!
And you're were only wearing the vest you'd had on when you were a dog.
Thankfully it was long enough to just barely go past your butt and cover your undergarments, but where were your clothes!?
The man awoke and you both took one look at each other before you literally leapt out of his arms.
"I'm S-so sorry! Please let me explain, I-" you were a blushing flustered mess as you grabbed a nearby blanket to cover yourself despite being clothed.
"I..I'm so sorry! Some cats turned me into a dog and I swear it wasn't on purpose! I didn't mean to deceive you but I didn't know what else to do so I just followed you and I'm really sorry!" You concluded, shaking fearfully.
You felt so exposed.
He was silent, and you couldn't tell what he was thinking because his eyes were hidden by his bandana.
He slowly reached out his hand so he could help you off the ground.
"....How about I get you some warmer clothes first..."
You nodded slowly and sat on the couch.
"I'm Aaron." He finished, leaving the room.

After explaining to Aaron what had happened to you and why you, some stranger, were lying in his arms in nothing but a tacky holiday themed sweater in the morning, he made you breakfast.
You both ate silently.
It seemed like you were both introverts, so the lack of conversation was just a given. It didn't bother you, though. Aaron seemed like the type of person whose actions meant alot because he didn't like talking too much.
"Once again Aaron..I'm really sorry." You said.
"Don't worry. I don't blame you. We all go through strange experiences." He said.
"Like getting turned into a dog by 'magical cats'."
"I said I was sorry!" You cried out.
"I know." He said. And then gave a small smile.
You realised then that he had been attempting to make a joke to ease your nerves, and much to your surprise, you laughed.
It began as a small one, but then you just let it out and laughed as hard as you could.
Aaron soon joined you, slightly baffled that his lame joke had made you laugh that hard, but it seemed the both of you needed a moment to just let loose.
You took in a breath, calming down.
"Thank you Aaron. I'm really grateful for your kindness. Is there anything I can do to repay you?"
