BEATNIK: A Poetry Collection

insinuendo

tonight I was

talking with

some friends

and got a little

dizzy while

trying to explain

the meaning

behind a comedy

film from the

beginning of

the last decade.

my mind was

caught between

the words

insinuation and

innuendo, and

out from my

mouth came

some combination

of the two.

I'd accept my

friends claims

that I was

retarded if not

for the fact

that the word

insinuendo

sounds kind

of cool.
