Part 11

Every Time You Leave- I Prevail, Delaney Jane

Katsu tries to run to you after he lands but his friends hold him tightly. "We need to help her. Baby!!" He screams out trying his best to get out of their arms.

"Bakugo please we need to leave. Have faith that she-" Iida was cut off by your scream. It stopped as soon as it started. Katsu drops to his knees his face falling assuming the worst.

He never got the chance to say it back and now he may have just lost that chance again. He covers his mouth as hot tears spill out over his hand.

"Sunshine!" Scarlet says running to you and slides beside you. "Come on kid wake up!" She shakes you but you don't move.

She picks you up carefully and sees All Might running up to her. "Is she okay?" He asks worried and Scarlet tears up as she flies off. She holds you closer to her pleading that you'd be okay.

As soon as she got to a hospital the doctors took you behind the double doors. "She has three cracked ribs, a punctured lung, a skull fracture, a broken foot, and her spin is nearly snapped in half." The doctor informs his team as they get to work.

"She's flatlining!" One says as he starts to do CPR.

"Get back!" Another one says as she gets a defibrillator. "Clear!" She hits you with it.

Nothing.

"Clear!" She shouts again as she up's the electricity shocking your body again.

Nothing.

"God damn kid come on!! CLEAR!" She shocks you one last time.

The heart monitor starts beeping again.

"We got her back people, let's keep it that way!" The main surgeon says as they continue to operate on you.

Three long excruciating hours go by for Scarlet as she waits for news on your condition. A doctor walks up to her and Hawks running a hand through his hair. "She flatlined on the operating table twice. We got her back and we've done the best we can. Everything else is up to her. I'm sorry." He says leaving the room and Scarlet feels her world crumble.

She starts to sob her knees giving out but Hawks catches her before she hits the ground. Crying with her.

A day later they were able to see you and Scarlet wanted to throw up. You were hooked up to a ventilator, different wires were going into your body, and your chest was moving so slow she expected you to die any second.

"I can't.." She starts to sob as Hawks holds her. "Come on Scar. The doc said she might recover faster if we do this." He says and she sniffles nodding. They walk over to you bed taking your hands in theirs.

"Sunshine?" Scarlet chokes out.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I let this happen to you. For years you were worried about hurting someone. Now look at you." She laughs a bit before crying again.

"Come on little nugget. We need ya back at the agency, it's quiet without your loud mouth." He chuckles wiping a tear away.

You slightly squeeze Scarlet's hand and she jumps. "Sunshine!?" She holds your hand tighter rubbing your cheek with her other hand. "Come on little nugget we're here for ya."

Your chest rises and falls as you flatline again. "NOO! SUNSHINE!" Scarlet screams as doctors rush in and they were both rushed out as the doctors tried to get you back again.

It was three weeks after you flatlined and the doctors had taken most of the wires sticking in your body out of it. They didn't allow any visitors until you were able to be taken off of the ventilator.
