Burning Flame

Part 31

Your sister came to get you after she talked to your principal and teacher about you moving out. You got the okay and started packing while fighting tears. You told your friends that you had to move out of the dorms for a little bit and got mixed reactions.

A week ago

"WHAT?!" Your friends shouted and Bakugo felt his heart break.

"Guys I have to..I've been....I haven't been okay..." You admit and they all look at you confused for a minute before they all had worry riddled across their faces.

"Y/n..you can talk to us.." Ochaco says and your eyes widen.

"No that's not what I meant!" You say and quickly assure everyone that you weren't going to kill yourself. Not that you could without holy water.

"I've been hearing a voice ever since my sister's concert. It's none of my forms and it's not a voice I recognize. It's really scaring me." You say as tears start to flow down your face.

Shoto was the first to react and pulled you into a hug. "Scar will find out who's messing with ya sis." He says and you nod, sniffling before he hands you off to Bakugo.

He kisses your head and everyone starts giving you words of encouragement and the girls offer to help you pack.

Present day

You collect your things with the help of Scarlet and your friends. You all load everything up in her car. Mina comes up to you and hugs you. "Why do you have to go?!" Mina says as she hugs you tightly.

Even though you explained everything to them and they accepted why you had to go they still didn't like it.

"Because it's not safe for her to stay here right now. I need her home with me so I can keep a closer eye on her. She'll still be going to school so you'll still see her every day." Scarlet says and they all sigh hanging their heads.

It broke you to see your friends like this, but you knew it had to be done.

"I know it sucks guys but in order to not only keep my sister safe, but you all as well, she needs to be closer to me. But I promise as soon as we get this figured out and taken care of, she'll be back in her dorm." Your sister says, trying to make them feel better about the situation.

Everyone finishes telling you goodbye and you climb into your sister's car as she drives back to her house. Once you got home, Scarlet helps you unpack everything back into your room. She explains a lesson she'd be participating in and you didn't really know how to feel.

"Wait. You are going to be fighting my teacher?!" You say, a mix of emotions in your voice.

"Yes Sunshine, I will be fighting Eraserhead. And then, you and I will fight your class." She says and your jaw drops. The only time you fought your class one on one, was when Aurora came to you.

"Wait, Scar are you sure you're up to fighting like that just yet? I know it's been almost a month since you woke up from your coma. I don't want you over exhausting yourself again and slipping into another...coma." You say as you began to break down just thinking about it. You couldn't imagine losing her again.

Even though your sister had explained that the reason she went into a coma was due to her exhausting herself while she trained with Keigo, you were still worried that anything could pull her back in.

Your sister pulled you into a hug as you being to sob. "Scar, I can't lose you again! I can't! I just can't!" You say in between sobs.

"You won't lose me again Sunshine. And I am ready to fight like that again. I've been sparing with Feathers and Bun Bun. I've also been working on some things with Nyx." She explains as she strokes your hair, trying to calm you down.
