Burning Flame

Part 22

You wake up and turn off your alarm. You got ready for school and headed out with Bakugo hand in hand. The day was, thankfully, uneventful and it was over before you knew it.

You walked back to the dorms with your friends and Bakugo. You felt someone grab your other wrist stopping you. You turn around to see Shoto. You sigh and nod everyone else on.

Bakugo kisses you and walks off. You look at Shoto and cross your arms.

"I wanted to apologize Angel. I should've let you talked to Scar first, I didn't mean to betray your trust like that." He says his head hanging low.

"You're right your should've let me told her. And....I can't stay mad at you forever because you're my brother. My first best friend. I forgive you Roki." You say holding your arms out and he hugs you.

As the two of you walk back to the dorms you told him about what's going to happen at the ritual and how nervous you were.

"It's not that I doubt her. I just have a bad feeling is all." You say fiddling with your necklace.

"That's understandable. From what you told me it sounds like this is going to be a lot bigger than your end of the month ritual." Shoto says walking beside you.

Both you of reach the dorms soon enough and he holds the door open for you. You walk in and head straight to your room to change.

You were about to head down to the common area and felt your phone go off. You look to see your sister texting you.

Scar❤️‍🔥☠️:
Hey Sunshine. Just wanted to let you know that I talked to Nezu
this morning. I'm sure Eraserhead
talked to you and Sho about
tomorrow night.

My Sunshine☀️:
Hey Scar. What did he say? And no, Mr. Aizawa didn't talk to me. He didn't talk to Sho, that I know of.

Scar❤️‍🔥☠️:
He's worried about you, in a good way of course. I told him that you'd more than likely not be at school Thursday. And told him that Shoto, Hitoshi, and Keigo will all be there for backup. He asked for the location we're going to be at so he can send more backup just in case. But I doubt we'll need it. I think the most backup we'll need will be Hitoshi. Nezu also informed Eraserhead and Vlad King about you all being involved for possible attendance reasons for class.

My Sunshine☀️:
Oh, wow. I'm glad he's understanding and willing to
help us if we need it. I really like
Principal Nezu, he doesn't treat us
like monster or villains. Like all the
previous principals have.

You though about how all of your other principal's and teacher you've had over the years and how they discriminated against you due to what you were.

Scar❤️‍🔥☠️:
I've always liked Nezu. He's been nothing but nice and welcoming to us. And Sunshine, you don't have anything to worry about. You'll be just fine. And you know you can always talk to me about how you're feeling. I know what you're feeling. I was scared too. But I'll be with you every step of the way. I will ALWAYS protect you.

Your jaw dropped. You didn't turn your mind link back on and she knew how you felt.

My Sunshine☀️:
How did you know how I was feeling?! I never turned the mind link back on!! But what if I lose Flame altogether Scar?! What if I hurt you? Or she hurts you and then goes after the others?!

Scar❤️‍🔥☠️:
Sunshine, I don't need the mind link to know that, I know YOU. And you'll need to turn it back on before tomorrow night. You won't lose her. And I won't let that happen. I'm older, smarter, faster, and stronger than her. There's a reason why she doesn't like me and why she won't try to fight me. She's intimidated by me. Don't doubt your big sister alright?😉😈
