Hey guys! I wanna start off by saying that Cherry_Bomb1718 and I agreed that since her character in her book is the MC we changed Y/n's name to Nova, That being said in my book her name will stay the same. Anyway enjoy!
Scarlet starts to feel dizzy as she watches Keigo pace in the waiting room. "Feathers, can you please sit down?" She asks him and he looks at her.
"How are you not freaking out?! Your sister was shot in the head!" He shouts and she rubs her temples as she feels a slight headache from your gunshot wound.
"Because she's a demon. How many times must we tell you that unless it was blessed by a priest or doused in holy water we'll just be sore afterwards." She says as she takes a few ibuprofen for her head.
"What about the attack on the USJ? When she got kidnapped?" He challenges and Scarlet snapped her attention to him.
"We're immortal, not indestructible Kei. She would've regenerated and it was bad timing for the kidnapping since it was the end of the month. Not only that but in her time of weakness she accepted a new demon without knowing the repercussions." She says seriously.
Before Keigo said anything else his attention was drawn to the entrance of the hospital. "Is that Bakugo?" He asks and she looks over to Kirishima and Shoto having to carry Bakugo in. She gets up and walks over to see what's going on.
"Scar! She'll be able to help him." Shoto says to the receptionist as she waves him off.
"What's wrong with him?" She asks as she leads them to the waiting room.
"I dunno, he was fine one minute and then the next he was on the ground complaining about his head." Kirishima answers and Scarlet looks at his mark.
It was shining a bright red and Bakugo groans in pain. "I know what's wrong with him." She says as they reached the room. "Don't freak out when I tell you this okay?" She asks and the two nod.
"He's feeling Y/n's pain. Something...unpleasant happened during the mission and she had to get wheeled into the ICU." Scarlet says only to be met with worried expressions.
She sighs. "She got shot in the head." She says as if it was the most obvious answer.
"WHAT?!" They both scream in unison and before anyone could say anything else the doctor walks in.
"Well Mirko is going to be just fine as well as HellSent. In fact HellSent is up right now and doing just fine for someone who got shot in the head." The doctor says and Scarlet thanks him for the update.
"I'll go check up on them. You three get back to my house and give him some meds and rest. That's all he'll need." The three nod as they help their friend back to Scarlet's house.
"Fuck my head." You groan rubbing your temples.
"I bet that hurts like a bitch." You turn to see your sister closing the door behind her.
"Like you wouldn't believe." You respond as you lay back down. "How's Kei?" You ask as you stare at the ceiling.
She rubs her neck as she pulls up a chair and sits beside your bed. "He's a little freaked out. He's seen you almost die but never in front of him. I don't think I helped either. I'm just so used to us not being able to die in normal ways that this is just another injury." Your sister says and you turn your head to look at her.
"We're not normal though. We're surrounded by people that would've died in most situations we've been in. You fell from a 40 foot drop and only went into a coma for a month. I just got shot in the head and I'm capable of having a full conversation." You say as you grab her hand.
"I know that but..." She pauses and you smile gently.
"I know, it's nice to think that we're the same as them sometimes. It's nice to think that we have to sleep and eat, that we can get hurt like normal people, that we can die like others.." She squeezes your hand and your eyes met.
"At least we'll have each other." She says sadly and you nod as tears form in your eyes.
After a few tests you were discharged and both of you went to see Rumi. She was conscious and said that she was just so fucking sore. After spending an hour with her both of you left to go home.
"So what sounds good for dinner?" Scarlet asks as you open the door and the next thing you knew you were on the ground.
"YOU WERE SHOT?!?" Bakugo yells and your sister leaves the two of you alone. You gently move him off of you and sit on your knees as you wipe his eyes.
"Hey, I'm okay now. Look at me I'm just fi-" You didn't get to finish your sentence before he cut you off.
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!" He yells as more tears flow down his cheeks. "You were shot in the head and....I felt it...I felt the bullet go in and out...." You were shocked that he actually felt the bullet.
"Suki...I'm sorry. I should be more careful and I know that, but I was put in a situation where I had to chose one or the other. And I put my own choice. I know that doesn't make up for it." You look to the see the sun setting and smile.
You get up and dust yourself off, holding a hand out to him. "Wanna feel what's it's like to glide above the clouds?"
He looks at you confused and then looks to the sunset, he gets up and wipes some more tears away. "Sure..dumbass." He mumbles and takes your hand.
You summon Aurora's large wings and slowly take off. You make sure that your grip stays firm on his hands as you ascend higher into the clouds. After flying through the last cloud you use your large wings to settle on a fluffy cloud.
"I have to warn you. This is the first time I'm doing something like this." You chuckle nervously and cover his eyes you wait until the sun sets just right and move your hands.
Bakugo's eyes widen as he stares into the colors of red, orange, and yellow. "Soooo. What do you think?" You ask and he turns to you and smiles.
"If this is an apology, it's working." He chuckles and you give him a kiss.
