𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫
I wake up ready to start the day, Today is my birthday and I'm officially going to be 21. I get up from my bed and head toward my bathroom.
Brushing my teeth in the bathroom, I can't help but think back to that day when Dad said that he would tell me something important once I was of age.
And I hope today is that day after dad told me about that I always waited for the day that I would finally know the truth about what he was keeping from me.
Once I'm done doing what I needed to do in the bathroom, I head to my closet to pick out some clothes.

I head downstairs for some breakfast and am surprised to see Faith at the kitchen island. "Faith?!" I say in shock, she turns around and gets up from her seat.
She runs and hugs me and we both start squealing, happy to see each other. We both had everything all planned out for my 21st birthday.
"Happy Birthday Vina," she says pulling back and taking a look at me. "You look so pretty," she says hugging me one last time. I shrug shyly and pull her back towards the kitchen where my cook and housemaid Sara is.
Sara's been with my family since I was born, she's like a second mother to me. "Good morning Sara," I say walking toward the fridge to get some water.
I open up the fridge but it's closed again, I turn around and see Sara and Faith standing around me with their arms crossed around their chests. "You will not be eating anything from that fridge on your birthday I will not have it," Sara says.
"We made you a birthday breakfast instead," Faith says pulling me towards the dining area. I'm shocked to see a full platter and plate full of fruits, pancakes, eggs, and other yummy things.
I sit down in the seat ready to dig into this yummy breakfast, but I soon stop realizing I'm missing something or rather someone.
I turn toward Faith and Sara with a worried expression on my face "Where's Dad he never misses birthday breakfast it's tradition" I say.
