I've always been known as daddy's little girl or daddy's little princess.

Ever since my mother died when I was six, my father had been very protective of me.

I get up from my bed and make my way to Dad's office. I walk past the guards who know not to look or speak to me, all because of Dad I have no friends, and the guards or too scared to even say anything to me because they're afraid of getting killed.

I open my Dad's office and am surprised to see two men sitting down in front of him. They all turn towards me, and I'm frozen unable to move or speak.

I take a look at the two men in front of me and I'm starstruck by how handsome and young the two are especially one in particular.

I clear my throat and speak "Dad, um I was wondering if I could go with Faith to a party" I say.

Ok, I kinda lied on the part where I said I had no friends, I only have one friend, and the only reason why is because she's been by my side ever since my mom died, so my dad trusts her.

He looks up at me and dismisses the two men, I look up and lock eyes with one of them. I quickly turn my attention back to my father once the two men leave, and sit down in one of the chairs.

He clears his throat and I smile at him shyly. "Please Dad, I barely get to go anywhere," I say pleading with him to let me go. And, It's true I don't get to go anywhere I've been homeschooled since my Mother died.

He thinks that keeping me locked away will keep me safe but in reality, all it's doing is keeping me from the outside world. People already assume that I'm a brat and that I can't do anything on my own, and yes I can be but I can also be independent.

"No, Davina you and Faith know the rules," he says strictly. I sigh, unhappy that for the 50th time, I thought he would say yes. I keep getting my hopes up, when I know he's just going to keep saying no.

I get up from the chair and start walking towards the door. I turn the doorknob and open it, I quickly spare a glance at my dear father and walk out.

Whilst I'm walking past the guards I don't spare any of them a pity glance like I usually do whenever my father says no to me about something.

Because this time I know it won't help the fact that I'm forever going to be alone and with no one if I'm continuously going to be confined to my room all day.

I make my way toward my room to call Faith. Once I'm finally in my room I close the door and plop down on my bed. I dial up Faith's number and to no surprise, she answers straight away.

"What did he say?!" Faith yells through the phone. I pull the phone away from my ear, "Could you try not to yell in my ear" I say putting the phone on speaker.
