Chapter 13

"I don't— I'm being stupid. Atsumu is supposed to come to the meeting downstairs, and—"

King immediately hugs you as tears start to fall. "You're not being stupid, okay? The stupid thing is you letting your partner call me instead of you because you thought you could handle this yourself. That's what I'm here for—to let you know it's okay for things to not be okay. But you won't know that if you keep lying to yourself and pushing away what you're feeling."

She stops as she hears your breathing slowly come back to normal. "I'm guessing you haven't told Oikawa, or else he wouldn't have invited them," King says, and you speak up. "Well, yeah. What am I supposed to tell him? That once upon a time I drunk and embarrassed myself?"

The two of you sit in silence until a giggle escapes both of you. "That night literally didn't happen," King says, and you nod in agreement.

"Wait, Oikawa does know about your drinking habits? How?" King asks.

"After that whole thing, I didn't want to drink anymore, and I told Oikawa that I'm absolutely terrible at handling my drinks. That I can get carried away or knocked out from one drop."

"And he believed you? With how depressed you were?" King questions.

The two of you stay in silence again before you both laugh again. "I really don't care if he believes me or not, the main thing is I'm not a fan of drinking". The silence comes again and King slaps your arm for you to tell her what bugging your mind again. "Do you think I should tell Iwa?", you ask and she sighs. "Whenever you want to you can", she simply says and you held her closer. "I don't know if I should, he might get upset".

"Why do you think that"

"Because of when we met again for the first time since like highschool, I accidentally drank, as you know, and Iwa carried me upstairs and drunk me decided to ask for sex"

"You mean, you asked him for sex"

"I just don't want him to feel like, I did it because I was drunk, because I quickly sobered up before I felt anything"

"Then just tell him exactly that"

The door opens slightly and you both twist your head towards the door. "Who is it?", King asks but relaxes when Iwaizumi walks in through the door. He gently shuts the door behind him and heads over to you. "I know you didn't want to talk to me about this so I called King instead", Iwaizumi says.

You quickly go to him and kiss him greatly as he held you so you wouldn't fall. "Thank you so much", You say and he blushes a bit. "That's fine but you should really be thanking King because she's the one who got you in a better mood", he says. "Calling my best friend for help was literally the sweetest thing ever", you tell him while giving him a hug. "King, get out and go join everyone downstairs", you say and she jumps off the bed. "Aye aye captain!" she immediately leaves and Iwaizumi was shocked by the way you both talked to each other.

"You can't just kick her out-", he says but you cut off his words as you kissed him. He shuts up to let you do as you please and you slide your hand into his hair. He puts four of his fingers at one side of your cheek, his thumb on the other and pulls your face away. "There's people downstairs", he says and you smirk.

"Why? Are you scared?", you tease and he kissed his teeth.

"Y/n"

"You worried you won't stay quiet?"

"Y/n, don't. I'm serious"

"I'll be quiet, I promise. I'll make sure you're the only one who will hear me. Just you and only you", you finally say before he snaps. He immediately pushes you against the cold wall and pins your arm against it. You flinch and stuck your chest out from the cold and Iwaizumi roughly places himself back on your lips. He felt you smiling into the kiss and grips one of your thighs as you pressed your hips against his. "That dress looks so good on you I don't even want to take it off", he whispers in your ear.
