You checked your phone again for the fifth time. Still no answer. You scowled when it died and plugged it into the charger, hoping you would get an answer soon. A knock sounded at your door, and you headed down to answer it, thinking it would distract you from this whole situation. But as the door opened, "shock" wasn't even the right word to describe the look on your face."Ms. L/n, Ms. Haiba is waiting for you to board her flight to Kyoto. Please ready your things so we can escort you to your destination."
You stared at the limousine in front of your house and swore you felt a heart attack coming on. Slamming your door shut, you ran back up to your room to call Akaashi one more time, and he finally answered.
"Why did you slam the door?"
"You're in that thing?"
"Are you not coming?"
"Hm, I don't know. I didn't plan for a whole LIMOUSINE and to be FLOWN OUT in my schedule, but I'll double-check if maybe I can squeeze it in."
"Y/n, I promise you'll be safe with me."
He cut the call, and you peeked out your window to see the limo again. 'Way too flashy,' you thought to yourself but began readying yourself out of panic. You threw on a more professional outfit, packed a bit in your bags, took your necessities, and headed to the door again. As you walked down your garden, your neighbor waved at you through the window, and you wanted the ground to swallow you up. If this wasn't embarrassing, then you wouldn't know what else to call it. The chauffeur opened the door for you, and you sat down, sinking into the seat as you took a deep breath.
"Akaashi, now that I finally have you here in person, you are going to tell me in detail everything on the hows, whats, and whys Alissa Haiba is contacting me to fly away with her for a business opportunity." Akaashi laughed, handing you the contract you signed for the references. "After I sent off the references and the photos back to the company, one of Alissa's agents contacted me to ask if you could come in to do more for Alissa," he started off, and you immediately flicked through the contract to see that you did agree for your media to be shared.
"Sorry, she wants me to model? I can't do that. I'm sorry—"
"I don't know what she wants you to do exactly, but she wants you to come see her in person to talk about a business opportunity or concept she's thinking about. I don't have all the final details, so you'll have to see what her plans are specifically."
You sank back into the chair and stayed quiet, too many thoughts flying through your head to even process your current moment. "Could I see the photos and references you sent off?" you asked, and Akaashi nodded his head. "Of course." He handed you his phone, and you flicked through the photos one by one. You found it honestly cool that something like this could get you this far. You swiped to the next photo, and all the hope you had on your face vanished.
LAST POSITION: fem against wall, male hands pinned against wall.
You swiped again to see more photos of you and Iwaizumi from your session and swiped more to see singular photos of just Iwaizumi. "Wait, hold on. When did he do these?" you asked, and Akaashi took his phone back. "After you left, we both had a talk, and I got some more references," he summarized, but you instantly knew there was more to the story. "He's coming too?" you asked, and Akaashi checked his watch. "He should already be there," he said, and you felt sick.
"I thought you knew about the whole situation between me and him."
"I do, and you were fine with him being in the studio."
"Yes, because it wasn't anything serious."
"I do have compassion for you and your story, and I do hope you finally get the treatment you deserve, Y/n. It just doesn't stop the fact that business is still business."
