Marnie is now looking at herself in the mirror, wearing a cerulean ruffled dress. She changed into a basic white shirt and paired it with denim pants as she thought the dress color didn't compliment her skin tone. Chinese beauty standard is crazy, she thought but then dismissed it because she won't be there to seduce Su Xinhao or something.

But she's there to stalk him... that's the term, right?

I don't even know where I am going to be thrown; I just told the goddess the entertainment building address. Do you I really need to feel bad about trying to meet him? I haven't even stepped a foot there yet. Is it a sasaeng mindset to wish for this... I am not going to invade his privacy. I just want to see him even from afar.

"Marnie! Come down already for breakfast~" her mom called her.

This is the first time she's eating breakfast without being the one cooking the rice since she learned how to. She gave her mom a handful of dollar bills the previous day, and she prepared a feast for yesterday's dinner. She's now wondering what's for breakfast.

"Why are you dressed so early?" her dad putting ice on their pitcher.

"I am going somewhere." she sat on that table, scooping rice.

"We haven't even talked about where you got the money yesterday, Marnie, and now you're going out this early? Have you really gone insane?" her mom cutting the grilled pork belly into bite sizes. Marnie can just think of how lucky she got.

"I dropped by the chapel to pray, and my prayers are answered. I saw a red bag, and the money was there. Someone probably dropped or lost it." how bad can you feel using the church as an excuse? "Don't ask bout it anymore; we have spent it already. Look at the food we are having; it's a blessing!" indeed, a miracle.

"Do you realize what you're saying? Are you sure you didn't steal? Those bills are worth more than half a million in our currency!"

"Do you want me to bring it back there then? Mom, the rich are getting richer; no one will be hurt if we try to live a bit more fine than usual."

The argument was closed by the conclusion that they really needed money. But if that's not really from a genie, do you think keeping a bag of cash is the right attitude? Will you judge someone because of that? Will our society collapse because of that?

Marnie went to their backyard, remembering carefully everything the goddess said about her meeting Su Xinhao. Just dive into the water... just dive.

I hope I don't get sick doing this. she uttered before putting her head in the large water drum.

---

Marnie can feel the water eating her up, the usual quake she can feel, and how tense she is trying to breathe. The magic only took a few seconds when she was in the woods, but this time she felt like she was being dragged down into a deep ocean. A thought slipped into her mind, that what if the goddess is lying and she is now dying believing you can teleport by water bodie-

"WOA-" Marnie gasped for air as she tried to reach the lake floor. She's almost running out of air; a cold breeze gives her shivers.

She looked around and saw two wooden benches. She's in a small lake, not so sure if it is deep because she knows she's somehow just floating. Marnie tried fixing her hair after getting out of the water.

"You need a dryer?" she almost falls again into the water. She forgot that the genie insisted on coming with her; of course, he would be a great help, so she agreed.

"You shocked the heck out of me." her squeezing water on her drenched outfit.

"Let me help you. I really like this place you gave me." her locket is shaking every time the genie talks; he's currently staying in that necklace.
