⋆ ★ CHAPTER 21

"Bye Lili! I'll text you as soon as im at the premiere." I shout from my car as I get ready to drive off.

"BYEE, HAVE FUN!" Lili replies.

I take one last look into my cars mirror to see how I look, amazing.

I dont think I have ever spent this much time getting ready, but I guess I am getting ready for a PREMIERE so it makes sense.

Pedro sent me the directions to the premiere on his phone, so I open Google Maps and drive off. I hate having to use directions, oh well.

Luckily it isnt too far away, just 40 minutes - at least thats what google maps says.

Every few minutes, I start to panic. Im nervous, scared and so many other things.

Literally nobody at the premiere other than Oscar and Pedro are going to know who I am...

You can do this Anna I think to myself.

at the premiere:

Before I walk into the large building, I take a deep breath trying to lower my heart beat.

As I step in, my heart starts beating wildly again, I see tons of familiar faces.

That girl who plays Rey... I think her name is Daisy Ridley or something, Mark Hamill, the guy who plays Boba Fett and tons of other celebrities I don't know the names of.

It feels kinda weird being around this many famous people.

And then there's me, nobody knows me.

Minutes pass, and I still have no clue where the hell Pedro is. I start to panic.

I shouldn't have come here, this is going to be a disaster I think to myself.

When Pedro said "I'll see you at the premiere" I thought it would be simple to find him. Ugh.

I decide to send Pedro a message, asking where he is. He better reply quick or else I will go crazy.

anna: WHERE. ARE. YOU.
pedro: the entrance... where are you?
anna: ALSO AT THE ENTRANCE. THERE ARE LIKE 10 OF THEM.
pedro: oh. right.
pedro: behind you, there should be a large glass door with a number on it. tell me the number.
anna: 4
pedro: alright. ill be with you in a minute
anna: good

I look around, hoping to see Pedro come around - there he is, wearing a formal black suit.

He looks so good in suits.

"Anna! Hey!" Pedro shouts as he walks up to me and gives me a kiss.

"Finally you're here" I say. "Yea. It took a while because all of the interviews." he explains.

"Also I brought some water in case your nervous" Pedro adds as he gives me a cold bottle of water.

"You know me so well" I say with a large smile on my face.

"I really hate to rush you... But I have to go back onto stage. You coming?" Pedro explains.

I can come on stage? That's epic, yet scary.

"Yea. Lets go" I say as he grabs my hand and we walk to the stage.

It's cute how he holds my hand to guide me.

I see alot, alot of people staring at us and have to hide a smile. It feels like im famous (except im not).

Some people (especially girls) give me some dirty looks and some seem to be gossiping about me... they must be jealous of me.

Too bad, I wont let them ruin my day.

And then, the stage. Before we step on, Pedro looks at me and says "Dont worry. Everything is going to be fine." because he can tell im nervous as hell.

He gives me a last kiss and both of us head onto the stage, where we get greeted with ALOT of interviewers, photographers and much more.

Oscar, who is also on stage notices Pedro and I and waves to us. I wave back.

An interviewer walks up to us, I notice she is also holding a camera.

Im going to be on Live Television? I think to myself as the interviewer starts asking questions.

I just do what Lili said I should: Smile, nod, and every few minutes say something.

"So Pedro, I see you have brought a guest with you tonight. Many fans say she is your girlfriend, is that true?" the interviewer asks.

"She sure is my girlfriend" Pedro says proudly. Im glad he isn't ashamed to be dating me.

The interviewer turns to me and im pretty sure she is going to ask ME a question.
I panic because I didn't think I would get interviewed.

"I hear your name is Anna, is that true?" she asks.
How the hell does she know my name? I think to myself.

"Yep, thats me. Anna Noviel." I stutter.

The interviewer nods and moves on to the next question... She is still talking to me. Shit.

"Well Anna, im sure this is your first premiere. What is it like for you?" the interviewer asks.

I take a deep breath and reply "Well I sure am nervous but im glad to experience this with Pedro"

I handled that pretty well, I think.

"Thank you" she says as she goes back to asking Pedro questions.

Its pretty awkward just standing there, saying nothing while Pedro is answering tons of questions.

After 20 very, very long minutes of Pedro getting interviewed, its finally time to take Pictures.

I start to walk off the stage, assuming they wont take any pictures of me.

"Anna! Wait." Pedro yells loud so I can hear him through the crowd.
"Huh?" I reply confused.

"You're getting a picture too" Pedro explains to me. I am getting a picture? Wow.

Before the photographer takes a picture of me, I make sure my hair is in place. It is.

"3...2...1!" the photographer shouts as the camera flash blinds my eye and takes the picture.

Hopefully I look good in the picture I think to myself.

I walk down the stage where Pedro is waiting for me, because his picture was taken before mine.

He grabs my hand as I walk down and says "You were amazing up on the stage. Seriously"

"Really? I thought I could've been much better" I say surprised because I thought I was a total mess.

"Yeah. You should've seen me at my first premiere... It was terrible" Pedro explains as Oscar comes to greet us.

"Anna! Pedro! How's it going?" Oscar asks. "Amazing, as usual" Pedro replies.

"Anna, you were awesome out there by the way" Oscar congratulates me.
"She sure was" Pedro adds, looking at me with a smirk.

"Pedro was so awful at his first premiere. You should've seen it!" he adds to tease Pedro.

"HEY! You weren't any better, Oscar!" Pedro replies joking.

I laugh at both of them teasing eachother, it's hilarious.

Afterwards, Pedro greets some of his celebrity friends, many of which I know of.

I try not to go crazy because I am talking to a bunch of actors with Pedro.

Most of his friends were really kind, so it was pretty enjoyable.

Overall, everything was going much better than I'd expected.
