——— "...And yeah, that's pretty much all there is to my ex." I finish whilst holding back tears. Don't cry.
"Oh baby...I'm so sorry. I should've been there for you, you deserve so much better than that. And I'll do whatever it takes to prove it to you. You're beautiful in every way possible, Anna. You know that right?" Pedro responds.
"Yeah. Yeah I do."
"Come here" Pedro whispers with open arms and I lean into his warm, comfortable body as he hugs me.
I felt like somebody else in Pedros arms. He made me feel so special, loved and cared for in a way nobody else ever had or could and his presence felt like the warmth of the sun on an early spring day, lovely.
"I love you" Pedro says and kisses my forehead with his soft lips. "I know, Pedro. You make me feel so, so loved. I just hope I do the same for you."
"You certainly do." he replies and I rest in his arms, for a while. Oh my gosh this man is so perfect I don't even deserve him.
——- 36 minutes later
I had spent the last half an our cuddling with Pedro which drained all of my bad thoughts away, but I just came to realise that even if we both know the rumours are not true, they were still out there. And millions of people still believed them.
My overthinking wins, leading me to ask my boyfriend what to do.
"So, how are we gonna deal with all these rumours? Do you just post something on instagram about the topic or is there more to all of this celebrity drama?" I ask.
"Yeah. I'll just post a selfie of us and my fans are probably going to 'repost' it everywhere, which should settle the drama." Pedro explains calmed.
"It's that easy?"
"Yes, it is that easy. You should stop overthinking so much, my dear. It's not good for you."
"Yea yea whatever" I reply with a laugh.
